@Peter5ol First of all, I need to pay about $1500 in taxes on my winnings, so some of the money didn't get spent. Secondly, $5000 IS already a low budget production. Machine rentals cost money, compensating people costs money, costumes and props cost money. There was also a lot of technical equipment I needed to buy (tripods, memory cards, etc). You wouldn't be able to buy the cotton candy and popcorn I bought with $20.
