its not the horsepower thats the problem dude, its the torque. yer it may be set at 1000 hp, but the toqrue will be around 1500-1600 nm. at 2000 hp this car makes close to 3000 nm of torque. if he floored this car at 3000 nm of torque in first gear, he no doubt wouldnt have any control with the tyres he is using.

wrong. If he decreases the top hp he decreases the torque as well so when stepped on at the same rpm the car is gonna have less power no matter if hes at 2000 or 6000 rpm

@ht666th have you seen how much torque tom nelson's motor make at like 2000 to 3000 rpm. check out the numbers they make. the torque curves of his motors are relatively flat. even if he dropped to 1000 hp at 6 psi or something, his torque is still like 1500 nm, and at 2000 rpm its probably 800 ft-lb or close to 1100 nm. thats a shit load of torque man
