  • i really like how you did everything:) thanks

  • @ladyjonesish Thank you! And you're welcome

  • how do you make the cobbler without eating the mixture all up before you even put it in the crust?! lol it looked so good I would've eaten it out the pot lol Good job!

  • @BeautifulHairByBrit LOL!!! Trust me, there have been plenty of times when the "extra peaches with juice" have mysteriously found themselves in a bowl with a mound of vanilla ice-cream *chuckle*

  • Um?

  • @shaheednaseer3 Questions?

  • Omgness this looks DELICIOUS!!

  • @iTEEMARIE It was pretty good. Good time to make one since peaches are in season now ;-)

  • that peach cobbler look like its a missle! im def gonna use this recipe tomorrow! thanks. i havent had peach cobbler since my grandpa passed. thank you.

  • @jaesimpson21 LOL!! I was thinking about making another one myself this week. I have about 2lbs of fresh peaches i got from the farmers market a few days ago. May as well use'em before they go bad.

  • Nice recipe and you explained so well, thank you. I'm laughing at some of the varied comments re how cobblers are made in the different parts of the country. Here in NY, what we get for cobbler is more a batter type thing...and I must admit, yours looks way better. Can't wait to try it this way.

  • @JayJayhope Thanks!!! Yeah i've made the "drop crust" toppings before which is kinda how you explained it - batter just dropped on top of the cobbler before it's placed in the oven. My mom taught me that one as well and it's HER favorite, i just never cared for it. So yeah, i stick to the original way she taught me to make it. Let me know how your recipe turns out. :-)

  • @CaliRed121 I sure will as soon as I make it...which I think will be very soon! Thanks, tess

  • how much butter did u put in the peach filling because ur stick looks alot smaller than mine lol i dont wanna put too much. so how many tablespoons of butter was it. thank you girl and i love ur video

  • @Asia28282 I used 1/2 cup or 8 TBSP. Yeah, the sticks I used were the ones measured in 1/4 lbs. Of course you don't HAVE to use butter but what's the fun in that? *chuckle*

  • As a Detroiter, this is how peach cobbler is made in my neck of the woods; crust always goes at the bottom and a lattice dusted with spice on top. Beautiful video on this soulfully tasty desert. LOVE YOUR VERSION!

  • @81Skippy aawww thanks! That's how we've ALWAYS made it in my family as well (or at least how my mom taught me and she's from Texas *chuckle*)

  • @CaliRed121 I didnn't know southerners made their peach cobbler this way, I thought yall pour a batter on top and call it a day. I thought the whole lattice and crust at the bottom method was a Northerner thing. I guess I learnt something new.

  • I am soooo hungry right now. I just watched your video on the seafood gumbo and for a first attempt it looked REALLY good (and the kids seemed to be enjoying it). Good job sistah!

  • @speshalkaye oohhh thank you! It was REALLY good after a few days

  • ..PLEASE stop saying "UHM" every 15 seconds!

  • @lawchick09 Why do people come to a page and say dumb sh*t? And it's ALWAYS the ones who have NO videos of their own. I LOVE internet "bully's" *smirking*

  • One of my favorites...looks great!!!

  • @TheVittleVlog mine too :-)

  • best peach cobbler video on here... please make more videos!!!!! you have talent! one thing, youre beautiful and all, but the camera needs to be more on the food while you talk

  • This video needs more T-Rex, space battle scenes and explosions.

  • no that is bad i hate this!!

  • *looking into camera*
