Vevo is one of the reasons why YT is still free to use. You think all this bandwidth comes without a cost? Advertisements on video page (which most people click, though I have no idea why there's B. Spears here...) allow to sustain YT without the need of premium memberships, pay to upload videos longer than 10min and so on. Yes Vevo is a corporation, yes they are hungry for money, but all this irrational hate towards them is primitive and stupid. Just my two cents.
