Savage is right: most Ron Paul supporters are confused liberals; or people who just support social liberalism who care little for fiscal conservatism. That's why he's so popular amongst the young.
Where Savage is wrong, however: Paul, once he begins speaking, is likable. If he were given a forum to debate Obama, I think that attribute would expose the president's huge ego and sway a large number of moderate/independent Americans.
