this was the pilot episode, months can go by before a network actually picks a show up and airs the pilot. He's currently 12 so he was 11 or maybe 10 when they shot the pilot episode, hence the voice. I remember my little kid voice lol I was so glad when my voice cracked and I finally sounded like a guy on the phone
