I have made up a couple of spare sets. If you just want the folding gear, it's $50.
You would have to fit the servo and linkages. I'll send a complete "bolt on" kit for $100 including a modded servo for 150 degree rotation. You would need to drill a couple of small holes in the base plate for servo mounting.
For a Trex 600 NSP. Would the mod be easily placed on a new set of skids in the event of a crash? You know the first thing to go in a crash is the skids!! I have been flying for about a year and a half and I am at the point that you are in your flying style so my crashes are not very frequent!! Lastly, where are you located? I am in Texas.
I use a jig to make the landing gear cuts and it's pretty time consuming. Chances are the hinges would be bent over the LG breaking, and those could be replaced. I've crashed with it before, and since they were "retracted" they only stripped the servo gears and bent a link!
Thanks guys. You can add radio mixes to put down the gear down whenever you want (throttle hold, normal mode, etc), but I still just have it on a side lever.
BTW, I made a couple extra sets, mail me if interested!
NIce flying, by the way. And that word was - demonstrate - not demenstate! I've just looked again, Do the retracts go up and down with the collective in normal mode?? If so, that's pretty neat!!
Not sure about the idea, emergency landings could be messy if you forgot about the retracts, but the beginning of your video when you demenstate, had me in stitches. lol lol
Is it possible for a 500 size e.g. a T-Rex 500?

Thanks for the comment! Is it for a 600 or 700?

Very neat idea and setup, and looks superb tucking up in flight - would a turnigy servo speed controller make it smoother folding/unfolding ??
Not sure if this helps flying, but it looks cool !

Any plans to do the same for Trex 500?
