You are wrong. Snitching is when you're involved in the crime and are so afraid of doing time for that crime that you tell on someone else who didn't get caught. Snitching is looked down on because essentially you're taking other people down with you when you yourself are not innocent. Now, Omar is far from innocent, but he wasn't involved in this particular crime.
