For me I found that a golf ball actually works better. The reason is the height of the "Smart Hockey" ball. You can get used to that thing's height - then you switch to a puck that is less than half it's height - you can guess the results. It's true that a golf ball weighs less than a puck, but I find that to be a better trade off than height aspect. - Ed
