  • Okay, I'ts satire, just a joke, have a laugh and watch my video GROUND TO HEAVEN.

  • I agree with our smoking hot leader. The constitution is a rag and all of you Mark Levin lovers are racists.

  • No matter how much you apologize for this man-child, his opinion is that the constitution is "a charter of negative liberties, it says what the government can't do to you but it doesn't say what it has to do for you". He sees it as an impediment to his socialist view of government, which is precisely why he violates it left and right anytime he can.

  • He never says what is wrong with the actual Constitution. He just says that at the time it was created, blacks weren't considered equal... which isn't true anymore... he's the President... he's black.

  • so what is the flaw exactly that we the people have rights?

  • While I agree that President Obama's comments should be taken in context, it's far more important that we look at his actions: Starting wars unconstitutionally, his socialist reforms, and his signing of the NDAA into law, to name a few. This man obviously has no respect for the U.S. Constitution.

  • Even in context, this sounds bad.

No where in the Constitution does it specifically differentiate between any race to another. Or between any ethnic background to another. The only reason to point out something is flawed is to change it, or discard it.

I have yet to see anyone show the specific wording in the Constitution that illustrates the flaw Obama was referring to. Do that, and I might concede your point.

  • You took an oath to protect something thats flawed. You piece of s.h.i.t f-you

  • Leftists are fucking douchebags, and the poster of this video proves that point yet again.

  • why would you post this crap? Are you actually a supporter of someone who has commited the HIGHEST act of treason!?

  • I wonder who wrote this whitewashed spin rewrite of Obama's commentary on the Constitution? His own words reflect his deeds, effectively abolishing any reasonable control of government power, presuming all political power to be his own, and stealing the right to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness from current and future generations.

  • He says the constitution is flawed so he can change things how he alone sees fit, just like Hitler did actually. He wants to be an unchecked power, an emperor, a dictator. I believe with every bone in my body, that if given the power, he will go down the path of all evil men such as Stalin, Hitler. I'm an atheist, but if I was religious, I would believe him to be the antichrist! His dismissal of the constitution and the freedoms it protects is disgusting

  • @LibertyorDeath86 I agree. President Obama's actions and policies show that he doesn't care about the Constitution. Obama should be in prison for treason. His flagrant disregard for the Constitution is disgusting.

  • i think he studied the constitution to learn how to dismantle it

  • This is dangerous.

  • No wonder he he had such a hard time taking his oath he just didn't beleive in it from the beginning and knew he was prepared to destroy it. This is likely the reason he won't release his Collage records they likely reveal his true Ideology and intentions. As a constitutional law student he majored in dismantling not upholding.

  • the constitution is not flawed its obama whos flawed

  • You are wrong! This doesn't make any sense. There was never any provisions in the constitution on slavery. wow!

  • What he is REALLY saying is that the document has outlived its usefulness and we should just disregard it so he can FUNDAMENTALLY "CHANGE" the US into a participant in global socialism....communism's after-life....because the Constitution is at odds with that hideous goal.

  • 'The constitution is a remarkable document that is imperfect and reflects deep flaws in the American culture at the time it was written'. He says: 'The deep flaw is a blind spot that continues to this day'. So, It's all about race. It's the ground work for reparations or, more redistribution of wealth. Repeating those words today, a strong case could be made that it is an impeachable violation of the oath of office running contrary to his promise to protect and defend the constitution IMHO.

  • Thank you for clearing up what he is actually saying. Thank goodness all you liberals are available to translate because, you know, he never really says what he is really saying and the rest of us peons really need it really explained to the us. Really. Sigh.

  • He swore to uphold and protect the constitution... so regardless of his opinion of it he has no right changing anything.

The betrayal of the document that this country was founded on is high treason. He is overthrowing the very basic principles that this country was founded on....

  • The intention of the framers was to include "all," and so it is proclaimed in the constitutions predecesor; ie the Decleration of Independance. Does Obama have so small of a prospective that he thinks the framers had no mind of how they needed to project words that would protect the longevity of this foundation of our country? He wants an evolving constitution in which his "progressive" judges declare what is right and wrong. Undermining the Constitution allows him, in his mind, to do so.

  • Sounds like the words of a socialist, shocking he's the POTUS, very scary.

The goal of socialism is communism.

    Vladimir Lenin

    Founder Of The Soviet Union

  • The Constitution has never been improved on, and likely never will be, even if "imperfect". If Barack Obama feels that there is a better document, I would like to see it. Regardless, our laws and our country is founded on it, and he swore an oath to uphold it. I guess, in his mind, no document or oath really means anything...its all "relative". He is a man without a moral compass, and thinks the rules aren't important. By "rules", I mean the law.

  • @Hako2004 Never been improved on you say? The first 10 amendments were not part of the original Constitution, so that's 10 awesome improvements right there. And unless you're a white male over the age of 21 I think being given the right to vote was pretty fantastic as well.

  • Frederick Douglass said: "The Constitution is a glorious liberty document.... found to contain principles and purposes entirely hostile to the existence of slavery."

    .

That includes the 3/5ths clause. And I am certain he had the 3/5ths clause in his mind as one of those "principles and purposes" when he said it.

    .

It is impossible to argue otherwise. But you may try to, if you wish.

  • The far left of politics is persecuting Christians, stifling free speech, taxing to the point of oppression, demonizing business, aborting millions of babies, now planning to exterminate the elderly, rewriting history, disgracing the Founding Fathers, and other evil plans.

    .

America is now suffering under the tyranny of far left politics. But there will be another day.

  • The 3/5ths clause was intended to reduce the power of Southern politicians. It is not a racist clause. It was never intended to be racist. Some people call it racist. But then some people see everything as racist. Some people have racism on the brain and see everything by the color of skin rather than content of character.

    .

The 3/5ths clause helped to end slavery. Ending slavery was a long fought battle. The 3/5ths clause was a step in the direction to ending slavery.

  • America's biggest mistake is voting in this loser Obama who doesn't respect the thing he is suppose to protect

  • NDAA, the Patriot Act, and the TSA. Hows that for IN CONTEXT!

  • You know something I noticed as a teenager; Obama has no respect what so ever for the America I love. People voted in a man to represent the country, a man who refuses to salute the flag he represents. A man who to this day, has yet to keep any promise. Say for one "change has come to America" . This man supports the building of a Mosk over ground zero. I used to consider myself as a democrat, until he took office. Next election I get to help vote his ass out.

  • @TheFlightAce What was it exactly that changed your political opinion? I am genuinely curious. I myself am Conservative, hence I ask.

  • @TheFlightAce what is the deep flaw he is speaking of? why will he not say what he means?

  • To all who listen to this and immediately begin antagonizing the president. Do you honestly think that people take office with an agenda of making your lives miserable? You still have the right to say these things on youtube and not be persecuted because so many people in the past have shouldered the weight of a nation in order to protect your right to do so. Statutory rape was once legal. Capital punishment was once a form of entertainment. Things change. People change. It's a fact of life.

  • this president is trash, he is essential damning our founding document.

  • You people are no different than the religious morons. The constitution is flawed. If it wasn't flawed, amending it would be illegal. It's like you people actually think this document was written by god or something, and not by a group of traitors.

  • The fact that we HAVE, long ago, added amendments to the constitution, seems to have escaped the president. He did not even mention it. Just "flawed" was noticed.

Funny he SWORE, took an Oath, to uphold this "flawed" document. But of course, he PROMISED a lot of things, like immediate end to war. What did he actually do?

Few know that in eight years(and I am not for bush) Bush dropped 45 drones of war. In less then TWO YEARS, obama has dropped 53 drones in war.

  • Can someone PLEASE clear up this to me?!?!?!?!

How are our founding documents racist at all?

How is ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL racist? - so he is saying that only white people are men? I am so confused?

Where is race mentioned AT ALL in the constitution? i cant see anything about it at all in there as I look thru?

Please help I dont want to be a total political noob cause I dont see where it says racist comments.... Thanks!

  • @AetherMichael He doesn't say that the documents are racist or anything close. People take these things out of context. He says that African Americans at the time were not considered African Americans. This is true. Africans were considered Africans. They were not legal citizens.

  • @legendarygatz True statement. But dems and libs are always taking things out of context. Like the Constitution and what not. The way they act, government's reach or authority is unlimited, but they know that's not true.

  • "I want you guys to have a great Nov 4! ". Being a Republican I say thank you, and we did have a great Nov, 2010 that is ( : and now we will have a great Nov 2012, too ( :. Hope and change seems to have been buried under all that dept Obama has put us under ) :

  • Actually, we saw the first significant improvement in the economy during his term. He alone is not responsible for it, but he did help. Also, we've been sinking into debt for much longer than a single term. We screwed ourselves over long ago. Stop blaming one guy for something that happened before you even knew who he was.

  • @legendarygatz Funny ( : Obama has spent more in three years than GWB did in eight years (money we don't have) unemployment under Bush was 7%,,,,,obama?,,over 9% . Gas prices under Bush, under 2$ a gallon, unde Obama over three dollars a gallon,,,yeap, he's done a great job

  • @NCLUSA Yup, but the dems and libs just keep saying "give 'em a chance!". I always ask, "are you referring to the same chance you NEVER gave GWB?"

  • He is flat wrong and ignorant about history. Before the Revolution, there were African-American legislators, judges, doctors and ministers. Some were important in the country's founding. There was no "blind spot" about slavery. There was widespread opposition to slavery, but Georgia and South Carolina would not ratify the Constitution if it were abolished. The abolitionists extracted as much compromise as they could get and all believed it would eventually be abolished.

  • @hennypenny247 the widespread opposition to slavery at the time of the writing of the Constitution and the shelving the slavery battle for almost another century speaks EXACTLY to what Obama is speaking. Not only was it a blind spot... it was an intentional blind spot.

  • @bababullshat

    .

    You are incorrect.

    .

    Frederick Douglas said:

    .

"The Constitution is a glorious liberty document.... found to contain principles and purposes entirely hostile to the existence of slavery."

  • @SomeLittleShoe His entire premise of the "glorious liberty document" conclusion is based entirely on the declaration of rights and the 3/5th clause considering slaves to be human, because only humans being eligible for representative government, and not livestock.

His entire "Slavery is unconstitutional" argument was based on those very premises.

It is EXACTLY what I told you but you can continue to argue... I guess.

  • @bababullshat

    .

You don't know what you are doing. Frederick Douglas is smarter than you think.

  • @bababullshat

The line "glorious liberty document" is not couched in a 3/5ths clause argument. But you are couching it in a 3/5ths clause argument.

  • @bababullshat

    .

The 3/5ths clause had to do with reducing the voting power of Southern politicians. The Founding Fathers did not think slaves were 3/5ths human. They thought they were 100% human. The 3/5ths clause was not put in the Constitution so say that blacks were not fully human. It was exclusively put in to reduce the power of Southern politicians so as to help end slavery.

    .

The 3/5ths clause was a step in the direction of ending slavery in the United States.

  • @bababullshat

Barack Obama is wrong about the Constitution and the Founding Fathers. He is not as versed as you think he is. He is an angry man and feels the Founding Fathers created problems for black people. He is near sighted and doesnt understand the Founding Fathers beyond what the far left of politics says about them.

  • It's about slavery. He thinks the 3/5ths clause is pro-slavery. . But it is not. . Frederick Douglass said the 3/5ths clause is anti-slavery. . Frederick Douglass said the Constitution is hostile to the existence of slavery. . Barack Obama's view of the Constitution is flawed. He is not educated well in this topic. I will listen to Frederick Douglass who is a true intellectual. . Barack Obama exists on a teleprompter. He is not a person of substance.
  • @SomeLittleShoe {He thinks the 3/5ths clause is pro-slavery. . But it is not. . Frederick Douglass said the 3/5ths clause is anti-slavery}

Yea, he should be busted by his recent "Glass half full" comment, this glass is 3/5 full

  • @mindprism The 3/5ths clause stated that each slave would be counted as three fifths of a person. It was used to determine the voting power of slave states. It wasn't pro or anti anything. It was just a measurement tool.

  • @SomeLittleShoe Frederick Douglass was happy that it actually considered slaves to be human albeit only 3/5ths of one and not livestock.

  • @bababullshat

    .

The 3/5ths clause is not what you think it is. There is intentional misinformation about the 3/5ths clause. Frederick Douglass was not a dumb man. The 3/5ths clause helped to end slavery. That was it's intention. It did not intend to slaves slaves as 3/5ths human. It's intention was to get slaves freed, not to degrade them to being less than human.

    .

Frederick Douglass was much smarter than you give him credit for.

  • @bababullshat

    .

Frederick Douglass did not consider slaves to be 3/5ths of a human.

  • @SomeLittleShoe

You are wrong about the 3/5th clause.

You are wrong about Frederick Douglass and his "glorious liberty document" statement.

Your insane ramblings sound like a Glen Beck and David Barton transcript.

  • @bababullshat

    .

Are we going to go to saying, "I'm right, you're wrong...no I'm right, you're wrong" now?

    .

American history has been warped beyond recognition. Your argument is a product of that warping.

    .

Frederick Douglass said: "The Constitution is a glorious liberty document.... found to contain principles and purposes entirely hostile to the existence of slavery."

    .

Your argument is not consistent with that. Your argument waters that down.

  • @SomeLittleShoe

Funny how someone that takes 1 sentence, without any context, would argue against the consistency or strength of any argument.

I don't need anyone's history... My entire point is based upon Douglass' "The Constitution and Slavery".

  • @bababullshat

    .

Your arguments smack of left wing politics.

  • @bababullshat

    .

The intention of the 3/5ths clause in the Constitution is hostility to slavery. It is not intended to define black people as 3/5ths of a human. To argue that it is in the Constitution is to take Frederick Douglass out of context. Frederick Douglass was an extremely intelligent man. You may be underestimating him, and what he said.

    .

  • @bababullshat

    .

Barack Obama is not just from the left of politics. He is from the FAR left of politics. To defend his viewpoints is to defend the far left of politics.

  • @bababullshat

    .

You don't know it bababullshat, but your paradigm is that of the left of politics.

  • @bababullshat

    .

I imagine you will be laying the Rush Limbaugh card down on the table next--which will make as much sense as playing the Glenn Beck card.I suppose Bill O'Reilly is in your hand too. Then Fox News. Then all the other silly things that always get tossed about when someone brings up the truth about the Founding Fathers. There is no real debate in America. There is only mud slinging from shallow minded hacks.

  • @SomeLittleShoe

No, I just refuse to argue with people that parrot misinformation.

In his 1849 article "The Constitution and Slavery", Douglass lays out the EXACT argument that I have given you and gives the EXACT reasons that I have given you. The good thing about the constitution is that (1) it give rights to people and (2) it considers slaves to be people (even if just 3/5ths).

  • @bababullshat

    .

It's becoming clear you are oversimplifying things.

  • He's trying to undermine the constitution by using racism. Also trying to divide us. African Americans know he is Illuminati (NWO). He is fooling nobody.

  • I'm so sick of people not understanding the 3/5th thing. Each African individual was not counted as 3/5th of a person. The entire African population as a whole in each individual state was counted as 3/5th for determining how many representatives each state would have, so as to not have an unfair balance among the southern states in relation to the northern states, since the south has such a larger African population.

  • @thomassanford72 It is absolute silliness to NOT see "3/5ths" as anything but racism and yes I know about the compromise. The fact remains that the southern slave owners were given additional representation based upon the number of slaves that they owned. The slaves were not being represented.

  • "Black people are no more human than the shape of their bodies." ~Benjamin Franklin quote~ Barrack is the best of the choices given. And every person on this planet I've ever met says something ignorant. Those who have a prob with him saying "uh" need to watch the video of Sarah Palin rewriting American history with her Paul Revere statement and ask yourself "Would she have been better." "Trying to make 100% of everyone happy is absurd."

  • Actually John McCaine should be to blame for bringing her on board in the 1st place. The Forefathers of this country had to go against their own beliefs with "Freedom for all" to make this a better country. The Constitution was put together at a time when ALL men were not treated equally. So therefore Barrack Obama knows exactly what he's talking about..

  • @jakadocius Learn your history. What Sarah Palin said actually turned out to be true. Real history that this administration and the lame stream media actually think didn't happen. When confronted with this there answer was well to be honest can we really believe Paul Revere would tell the truth. There's your saying something ignorant.

  • @brianna1532 "In Medford," he records, "I awaked the captain of the minute men; and after that, I alarmed every house, till I got to Lexington." " Noise!' said he, you'll have noise enough before long. The regulars are coming out.' Sarah Palin was wrong and saying "uh" constantly is not justification of calling someone stupid.

  • @jakadocius I tried finding your quote under Benjamin Franklin but got no results. It seems almost as if it doesn't even exist. Please do try to be more careful when sharing information.

  • Obviously he hasn't read it.

  • FUCK Obama,, the constitution did not ever mention africans,, so he is already lying right out of the gate,,, there are only 2 places in any of the amendments where slavery is mentions,, see Amendment 13

    1. Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime

whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United

States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction. This is a serious issue when a so called constitutional law professor says this

  • FUCK Obama,, the constitution did not ever mention africans,, so he is already lying right out of the gate

  • The original framers of the constitution, went out of their way, to make certain that slaves were given a door to freedom. Slavery was a world wide, accepted practice, even among Africans, who sold their people into slavery, but the founders knew that slavery would need to be abolished and they had the forthought, to write the constitution in a way to ensure that slaves would eventually, be given equal and full rights, as U.S. citizens.

  • this is way i never want to be leader of this country because the President is not free to say what you feel without fox new or somebody bashing you. the Constitution has flaws just like everything that was written by people.

  • Challenging the status quo is the heart of democracy

  • @EscapeGoat27 Which is why we were founded as a REPUBLIC. Founded by "Right-Wing Extremists" as a matter of fact.

  • REPUBLICANS? How about Americans? In context is just as bad and even worse.

  • @halfvulcan There is a means the vote every 4 years

  • @halfvulcan wise words with which i totally agree. i believe that their must be a special place reserved in every constitution of every country in the world that garantees and reminds the people of their right and duty to control and, if necessary, overthrow an unjustified and unjust government. and that part of the constitution should be made completly unchangeable, because it will never be "outdated".

but this has nothing to do with what i said and criticized in my other comments ;)

  • i'm suprised that obama had the guts to say this, i mean many americans do believe their constitution HAS to bi perfect, since its been there for 200 years but it really isn't up to date anymore. every other country has "constitution-updates" on a fairly regular bases, for example here in germany we got the "constituion-court", basically our supreme court, befor which any citizen can announce reasonable doubt to a certain paragraph in the constitution or in any other law. the only exeptions to

  • @paaatreeeck ...this are the basic freedoms garanteed in the german constitution (the hunan dignity being the most important).

i mean some "flaws" in the american constitution were'nt unreasonable at the time the document was written, for example "every american has the right to have a gun". this right was perfectly justified at that time since america was under constant threat of being attacked by the britisch empire and the american army wasn't nearly strong enough to fight them off without..

  • @paaatreeeck ..the help of militias. but today america is the strongest military power in the world! they don't need fucking militias to defend their soil! hence, the original bases for that amendment 200 years ago is long gone, but still americans desperatly hold on to it "because its a constitutional right". well, if your already going to give every damn rambo a gun then at least have some reasonable gun laws. but "noo, that would restrict us in our freedom". well, if you say so...

  • @paaatreeeck and this isn't the only long overdue amendment repair, this was just an example...

  • Good God, what have we elected?

  • Give time, he is a good man.

if only aloud him to do the right thing...it is not that easy to be Presindent of USA when "others" telling you (have no choice) what to do.

    !

  • the constitution applys to ALL of us black and white period! get rid of or change it and you can call it death and hell will follow!

  • To view the framers as one harmonious group is flawed. It is a stereotypical interpretation of our founding. A few were slave holders by inheritance and troubled by it, including George Washington and Thomas Jefferson. A few were abolitionists. The Constitution as a document is not flawed, it has built in ways of correction. To view slavery from a singularly black perspective is also flawed. It does disservice to the Irish slaves & Europeans taken as slaves by Islamic northern Africa.

  • Thank you so much for this!! I'm sick of all the false information that is put out there...fearmongering and hatemongering. Please continue to do this in the future!

  • The constitution IS NOT RACIST. And nor are the people who support it today. Only the people who vote based solely on color, accent, and gender are racist.

The 3/5 compromise is no longer valid today because slavery is unconstitutional and the compromise was based around slavery and representation.

The states of the original 13 colonies below Verginia(idk if it inclusive or not) should be grateful for the constitution allowing them to vote for the scum that destroyed my future.

  • The deep flaws he is talking about is the flaws pertaining to slavery and race. You people are idiots!

  • The flaw of the nation does not lie in its documents. It lies in the people who are too willing to misinterpret the documents for greed or gain or public opinion. No document can fix ignorance or people with twisted agendas.

  • @BBB517

    Well said

  • Forget the slave part Obama. The Federal Government now takes money and redistributes it. That is Socialism. Socialism has failed inthe past and will fail in the future. As long as anyone is voted into our government that will not uphold the constitution we the people have failed. Our government has failed us. Read the Original Constitution It says nothing about income tax. That came later with the abuse of power.

  • He was talking about the "original" Constitutution". If we ourselves thought it was so perfect why have we added amendments?

  • The constitution is as close to PERFECT as it gets.

Only the commerce clause should've been more specific (it's being exploited in unintended ways)

Also it should've had something to stop even the most slimy politicians from evading or bypassing it.

  • Comment removed

  • OK, now I hear and read things all the time that Obama has said.

Have you ever heard the man speak good things of the United States? It is something to think about. Always portraying America in a negative light.

Why did this man run for the office of the President of the United States if he doesn't have much respect for it?

I do not hate the man, it's just things like this make me think about all the speeches and I start putting things together. I will not be voting for him again.

  • @love2ink ,

Obama hates this country and is doing all he can to weaken or destroy it. When you understand that, all his actions make sense. What better place to carry out that destruction from the top?

  • @Videoobserver Typical right wing idiot, anyone who is not a Republican hates the country. There is a reason why low IQ and Cons go together.

  • Women were also left out of the power base in 1776, but that does not mean that the Constitution reflects an "enormous blind spot" that carries on to this day.....

    Obama....what a loser!

  • His disdain, and lack of respect for this document clearly make him unqualified to be the POTUS...quite simply, he lied when he took his oath of office.

  • The Constitution IS a perfect document. Read it! In no way does it disparage Africans.

Furthermore, the President is bound to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America... not look for ways to circumvent it.

  • @glendonplace

Rule of the Majority outnumbered the Rule of Law.

  • @glendonplace "In no way does it disparage Africans."

That why were the amendments needed that gave equal rights to women and non-whites?

  • @glendonplace I disagree, its not perfect. Its certainly great and close to perfect, but I think there are a few admendments that could be added (and taken out) that would in fact make it perfect. Like get rid of the 16th and 17th amendments, and add in term limits, limits to federal pay, etc.

  • @glendonplace I really have to question you on this. If you actually listened to the clip (I'm convinced that you didn't) you here that he specifically calls out that slaves, Africans, etc. were only considered 3/5ths of a person at the time the document was written (pre civil war era amendments).

Are you saying that all blacks should be slaves, and that they shouldn't have the right to vote, and that they should only be counted as 3/5ths of a person?

  • @glendonplace

SURE! The constitution is absolutley perfect and in now ways disparages afriacan-americans. Thats why it declares slaves to be 3/5ths of a person (they where, believe it or not, black africans whos offspring lived for centuries in the United States) for porpouses of taxation and representation. So yea. Its absolutley perfect, written on stone by god. Oh wait... If the founding fathers mottow was E pluribus Unum... then why is our nation motto "In God we Trusth?". im confussed

  • @glendonplace

  • There are times when people have different opinions, and there are times when someone just does not have their facts straight, plain and simple. The Constitution, as it was originally written recognizes all blacks as property, as "3/5s of all other persons" (Article 1 Section 2 Clause 3) towards representation in the House. It also has been amended 27 times. If it was written perfectly, than why did it have to be amended? Flat out- you do not know what you are talking about.

  • @lfmfromnj Talking about not having your facts straight...you are misrepresenting what the 3/5s clause was all about. Southern slaveowners and politicians wanted to count slaves (their "property") as part of the regular population in order to gain more seats in the House...giving them more power in Congress and increasing their chances to pass pro-slavery laws. The 3/5s clause dramatically reduced that ability.

  • @JamesWInGermany Dude you are missing the point,, the constitution never ever not under any circumstances permitted slavery,, as Obama just tried to convince everyone it did,, slavery is mentioned in the the 13th amendment specifically outlawing it ... the constitution is perfect,, its not flawed,, it doesnt discriminate against anyone,, its the other laws that did,, if people actually followed the real intent of the constitution,, there would be equality for all.. get a clue

  • @ikambor I agree. The most perfect document is being destroyed by Obama.

  • @ikambor The constitution never permitted slavery? Article One, Section Two, Clause 3: Included slaves in the counting of population as three-fifths of a person towards representation in the house. Article One, Section Nine: Included that Congress would not bar the importation of slaves until 1808, however they could place a tax on imported slaves. Article Four, Section Two, Clause Three: Fugitive Slave Act. Please actually READ the document you so vehemently defend.

  • @shayes3100 the 3 5ths of a person concept is often taken out of context,,, here is how it actually helped slaves,,, since blacks couldnt vote,, but were still counted as citizens and the number of representatives any state could send to congress was based on population,, so a million slaves could send a lot more slave masters to represent them,,, so counting them as 3/5ths of a person wasnt about thier worth it was about reducing slave holders representation in congress,

  • @shayes3100 and the rest of the claims you made are false,, slavery isnt mentioned in any of the articles or sections you claimed,, you are a liying POS loser,, maybe you should read the 13th amendment you ignorant fuck tard,, i got a bit of advice,,, search the us constitution on google,, its there and searchable you dumass

  • @lfmfromnj you are a liar,, go back and read article 1 all of it,, there is no mention of blacks anywhere,, and you have taken all of it out of context,, and your lie would never hold up to any legitimate argument,, so go fuck yourself you liar piece of crap,,

  • @glendonplace

Exactly. Obama is mixing contempory wisdom, social critisims of past events and the actual, factual statements in the constitution.

Martin Luther King could have written zero speeches and just used the constitution to "free his people".

  • @glendonplace no we'll just ignore that 1/5 thing and all those admendmnts they had to make to make it perfect and will keep doing?

  • "uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh"

    FUCKING MORON

  • @glendonplace Maybe you should read it lol, because it definately does..

  • @glendonplace The Constitution is idealistic, not perfect. It was ideal for America at the time it was introduced. However, society has changed dramatically since then. The constitution protects an insurance company's right to deny any citizen coverage due to a pre-existing condition in the interest of running a business. Nowhere in the constitution does it protect your right to live or even have your family receive the money you paid that company to do nothing. (objective, not subjective)

  • Thanks for posting

2points first if all this i would say the constitution has been walked over many times the fact there us no longer a gold standered and that the FED is not just there but states it is ABOVE the law.

Doesn't the above show ither the constitution is flawed or has been trashed?

Second the prez it not in charge which makes me question the motive behind any change!

  • His talk of colonial culture also gives more credence to D'nesh Dsouza's column. His arrogant suggestion that he is the wise and venerable person to correct the "fundamental flaw" in the Constitution is frightening. And so he believes he must "fundamentally transform America." No thank you, sir.

  • @paris Pretend that's a Republican saying that and your blinders would fall off. Global warming isn't a moral problem, certainly not one of the same standing as slavery.

  • Thank you.

  • Created equal is a lie. My son was segregated out of his classes and restrooms for reporting that he and other white kids were being targeted for daily threats and assaults. School district punished him for expecting to learn in a safe environment and expecting them to provide it. State and federal government would not help us. Had to move to another state to get an equal education.

  • @dsoles3 - You're confusing 'created equal' with 'treated as equal'. They are not the same. So, had your son been left in the environment where he was being "targeted {with} daily threats and assaults", then you would have found that as satisfactory response? Your post is confusing.

  • Amazing that he equated slavery with environmentalism. Ownership of people is the same as global warming? Madness.

  • @kendinatl He didn't...

  • I wonder why he would swear to uphold and protect a "flawed" document? You are either swearing to support it or you are telling a lie to get power over your fellow citizens. Until we learn to return to the core value that made this nation great, freedom of the individual, we will continue our slow decline. The role of gov. is to prevent one group from forcing its values on another. Sadly, throughout history gov. has most often been used as a tool for one group to force its values on another.

  • @rubberfire101 And what about the freedom of blacks and minorities? Return to those 'core' values? Really?

  • @fountainhead2epik2 Yes, I am for the freedom of blacks and minorities. I am for the freedom of all humans. The core values I was referring to are the values inherent in classical liberalism (individualism, limited, constitutional gov., and free markets). I despise ideas that use the force and coercive powers of gov. to control others. Almost all of the hardships faced by minorities have been gov. failures (slavery, Jim Crow, min. wage, Social Sec., Medicare, bad schools). I am for liberty.

  • @rubberfire101 I really have to question you on this.

Your honesty is refreshing, I suppose. D-:

  • @rubberfire101 So, but that resoning, every president who was in power when your constitution was ammended, had 'told a lie to get power over their fellow citizens.'

  • @rubberfire101

What is the core value that made this nation great?

  • what blindspot? Since the civil rights movement, african americans are american citizens the constitution applies to them as well... there is no blind spot, no flaw, they are citizens just like the rest of us...

  • If this fraud calls for a "constitutional convention" he will have to deal with widespread unrest.

  • @Yahaziff It would backfire on him as the majority of States would just reaffirm the Constitution as the Founders intended it. That would mean the 10th amendment would have teeth again and the commerce clause would not be able to be used to eclipse the rest of the Constiution.

  • Wow he tells the truth and you backwoods sister fucker trie to it around as if he is against it. He saying more black rights should have been added to it.

  • @carnypimp If he really understood the time of the framing, he'd know that 1/2 the founders were for abolition and simply giving blacks rights would have split the union and we all would have been taken over by Britain and France.

Obama should have, as Frederick Douglass did, read the writings of the Founders, including the Federalist Papers. The Constitution clearly paved the way for abolition.

  • @jamcutie5 And the constitution as of present day needs more added to it to protect certain races.

  • @carnypimp WHAT? who? protect them from what?

  • @obiwan5150 All the white man ass kissing parts of the constitution.

  • @carnypimp that doesnt even make any sense, if you dont have a reason just admit you would only agree with changing the constitution because a black man said we needed to.the constitotion PROTECTS us ALL so i ask again change what and for what reason? you cant answer me because you dont know what your talking about! the same crap that got him voted in (theres only ONE reason why anybody voted him in.)

  • @obiwan5150 I only agree with changing the racist parts of the constitution. I love the constitution and know my rights. Obama nothing in what he sais is saying the rights where wrong.

  • @obiwan5150 I voted Obama in for one reason true no better choice. Mcain was old and rusty and that dumb bitch that would have been Vice President would have really screwed things up. If the GOP wants to pick a good candidate they should pick Ron paul he would have my vote.

  • @carnypimp True Mcain was nowhere near a good choice but at least he wasn't a socialist.

  • @falconaviator1 Lol we would have been even in more debt and I still would be unemployed. I work in a automotive factory.

  • @jamcutie5 Where did I say africans back then needed rights? I think when Lincolin let them go it was to early. They where let go with no food, money, shelter the ones that did not drown had to return to there masters and work for food that is not free.
