Currently, when I switch to another program or browser or anything on my Droid, the music stops!! I go back to the Asus program and I have to press play to get it to start again... How to make it play in the background like any other player on my phone? Streaming or not they all have this feature so far that I can tell.
If ur music streams from ur ASUS WebStorage doesn't that chew up ur data transfer on ur mobile phone plan? I know I only have 200Mb Data Transfer on my monthly phone plan.
@StarsIgnite Yes it would, but I'm guessing you also have the option of streaming it when connected via wifi instead (say, at work, or at starbucks), which would not count towards your data. You are right though - be careful not to incur a huge mobile data cost accidentally if using your limited mobile internet...
At present I´m testing webstorage from asus with my pc.
I like this audio-streaming.
Can video-Files also be used with streaming?
My actual test was negative (used together with vlc-player at my pc).
First the complete file downloaded into temp-folder and than my vid-player started showing the vid.
Do I have to use certain vid-player to use vid-streaming? Or is vid-streaming not possible to date?
