My heart goes out to Tibetan. I am a supporter of "Free Tibet." They can argue when Tibet lost its sovereignty to China under what righteous or wrongful conditions. To China, Tibet is just one segment of its multi-cultural nation. To Tibetan, Tibet is their only home country that they know.

I was at the protest with the other human rights supporters. Even with all the yelling, shoving flags in faces, etc., I was impressed that dialogue occurred between a few of the Chinese and the Tibetans. At least we're talking, which is more than can be said for those living within China.

I find it really hypocritical for pro-China supporters to slam western media "bias" when their media is state-run, journalists are not allowed into Tibet, and their history books have been rewritten after 1949.
