the Ferrari didn't loose by much, not to mention it costs more than the Ferrari, doesn't look any different than any other 911, and it has the added bonus of having 2 turbos strapped to its flat engine.

By no means is the ferrari stupid or slow, especially when you compare all the aspects of the cars, really the porsche should have won by more margin to be any good considering the massive advantage it has...

F430 F1 costs $460 000 + ORC.

This porsche is a 996 though, which at the time was the top of its class, that F430 was the everyday F1 version with all its aircon, radio/cdplayer, "leather" as the guy says.

Sure porsche was marginally faster, but that is porsches best against ferrari's everyday road version car, compare that porsche to an F430 Scuderia and there would be no question about who will win.

Don't get me wrong, I think Ferrari is way overpriced. But on the other hand the Ferrari has a mid engine setup and handles better, looks unlike a squashed VW Beetle with a wing on the back, it sounds better, too. If you've ever driven a 911, you will NOTICE that these cars have massive lift off over steer in fast corners because of he placement of the engine (inside the rear bumper, behind the rear axle). The rear end swings like a pendulum. Get a 2008+ STI, tune it nicely and you'll be fine.

look man.. im not bashing ferraris, they are my favorite cars but you are missing my point. Using a turbocharger or supercharger is a method to achieve certain power and it does not mean they do not have the technology to do a powerful NA engine. Yeah its easier power.

Enzo is not the most powerful road legal NA car, it is infact the Mclaren F1 LM with 680 hp vs 651 from the ENZO. The 620 hp of the carrera gt are really close to ENZO so Porsche clearly has the capacity to build a proper NA car.
