I can't believe they canceled this show. They need to bring it back and put it onto Comedy Central, that way the show they have more freedom. The censors was so holding the show back.
"That boring Brit" you're talking about is Clive Anderson, and many people regard him a very interesting person and a good televisionhost. I agree, Drew did a better job on WLIIA, because he's a more playful person, but there's no reason to be so harsh on Clive.
Well I am truly happy others think of Mr. Anderson as an interesting individual and a good television host. But he seems more the type to be hosting documentaries instead of Whose Line.
That is what I very much liked about Drew, his playfulness, isn't that what Whose Line is all about? And I could not agree more, the actors were and are awesome, THEY are the ones who made Whose Line what it is to begin with.
Ofcourse you're right, and Drew was a better host (allthough Clive has had some pretty fun moments as well). I just didn't agree with you calling Clive 'That boring Brit.' But in the end, I think we're both just Whose Line fans, and entitled to our own, (slightly) different opinions. So, cheers to you, mate!
@FroobRadio Don't really agree, mate. I consider his interactions with Greg in particular as very funny. Drew did bring more to the show by actually participating, but I don't think they even ever thought of that in the UK version. Maybe I did overreact a bit, but I'm a Clive-fan =)
@JEK1269 Drew made the show a hell of a lot better then that brit that use to do it theres been times i was ROLFAO when he did the show which the show was still on the air it was one of the funniest show out there
@JEK1269 clive anderson was great... it was him who came up with the idea about not giving a shit about the scores.... the uk version was far better than the us... i think in the uk version they came to the studio from the pub, did the show then went back
The on at 0:40 is from a singing game, All in One Voice, where Colin and Wayne are singing together as Lucy Ricardo and Ryan and Brad are singing as Ricky Ricardo about swimming.
Dunno about 2:28, but it's got to be some game of Three-Headed Broadway Star.
what episode is the balloons?? lol

I think when the guy in the song starts singing, kinda sounds like Brad singing.

Loved the show for many years - its still on TV here, just watched an epi. I'll never forgive Drew Carey for ruining the show.

And just how did Drew "ruin" this show? Making it funnier? It became ALOT funnier with him than that boring Brit that used to host it.

You find Drew funny? Not so here, we find him excruciatingly unfunny to the point of cringeworthy.

LOL - as you say, certainly not worth arguing over. Nope, not Brit. Just can't stand Drew Carey. Love all the performers though.
