I do my own woodworking, but if you're not confident doing it yourself (you do risk ruining the guitar or guitar body, if you build from parts/scratch) or you don't have the tools to do it, you may be looking at consulting a professional luthier to do the installation for you.

@Pendry007 It varies. The initial mod I did was to take a screen out of the KP2 (which I got for about £70-80 second hand), and wire it into the KP2 with a serial cable. I later bought a circuit from Gazlang (about £50 IIRC), which does a much nicer job of outputting the screen's signal to MIDI, and also controls the lighting. You can also get screen and circuit kits from XYPad (just over £100), which includes the screen frame (I made my own frame on this one out of an old laptop lid).

too much FX on the vocals on the chorus. also, didn't like the ghost notes the drummer does. it gives a weird feeling to the song. i dunno. vocals are fine, just not my taste, but the cover is in itself pretty good. Bass is a little too low on the mix. can't hear him even on the final riff, and that's just bass, guitar and drums. give that bass a boost on the low mids. around 200-300 Hz.

@themuseproject Appreciate the feedback. I'm working on getting the mixing better as we move forward, bass did need a lift. As for the vocals on chorus, the only effect, so to speak, was an echo on the first instance. The backing vocals are all without effects (there's 4 or 5 overdubs, I think). what you could use is a ping pong delay, but you'd need to know how to use it well to make it sound good and not cheesy. echo isn't a very good vocal effect option. get a delay going. and don't over use effects. it's better to under use than over use in my opinion. but your guys are doing great. =] i got some band covers on my channel too if you feel like watching. i used pong delay on the vocals and it's barely noticeble, but it's clearly not dry. =]

@goden Backing vocals are all recorded naturally and layered, no effects. There are 4 backing vocal layers for the chorus, and the "hey"s are about 16 layers, if I remember correctly.
