  • what kind of ac15 on this? also what kind of pickups in the gretsch? love the tone!

  • @revbrodiddley The AC15 was made around '96,' 97 in England (by Marshall, actually).

Pickups are stock "Dynasonics" that sound nothing like real ones. Some ppl like them, I couldn't stand them so they are now collecting dust somewhere.

  • i guess if you wanted to you could play a gretsch like an acoustic guitar yes? or is that a silly thing to say lol? i love them and would like 1 even if its just a copy of 1

  • Where is the guitar made?

  • @JerridPayne Japan

  • i like your hillbilly style brother

  • Kind of Creedencey. But cool.

  • It's fun to mill around, find stuff that sounds fun and then connect the it together. You going to write lyrics for it too or did you mean it to be a solo?

  • @redcarsarasota I wish I could write lyrics. Actually, this one was an accident. I just plugged it in one Sat morning and had the camera running. I guess it does work solo though.

  • very good johnny i like it

  • What is the name of the song?

  • @Ariel23rus Not sure. Haven't given it a name yet.

  • congratulations!

    It is very good!

  • Love the jam and the gretsch, can't wait to

Buy me a vox after Xmas for my gretsch

  • Very very nice playing and great guitar too. I like also the shirt! :))

  • sweet guitar, i have the 5122. love it. was thinking my next amp to be a Vox actually, or a peavey classic 30. love the sound you are getting, makes for great demo of this guitar.

  • @thelastnic

Today I was contemplating the same thing...I own both amps and have to sell one. There was no comparison, the AC 15 won hands down, and I do like the classic 30, but to me there was no comparison.

  • nice Gretsch ;)

  • wau, great clean sound

  • Great stuff!

  • great job!!!!

  • Very nice sound! Clean, precise and still fluid.

Great guitar, Great amp, Great player!

  • very nice

  • man that is one sweet sounding guitar

  • thats one of the nices guitars i've seen on youtube, I want a country gentlemen but I can't afford. rather buy a good amp and a decent guitar. well done.

  • I don't think I'm accomplished enough to play cheesy blues riffs...ha ha

I doubt you're ever going to get much sustain out of a Gretsch regardless of volume but hollow-bodies tend to have resonances instead which kind of makes up for this deficiency.

  • Hey thanks for playing something that *wasn't* cheesy blues riffs.

BTW,do you get a nice sustain from that set up when you crank it?

  • would recomend the vox ac15

  • Reddish-orange.

(When it says "maple" in the ads its referring to the material used to build the top and the neck and not the color.)

  • thank you.

  • Great guitar and playing. I consider buying a 6120 DSV. Some of them are "orange" and some "maple" in the ads on the internet. What colour would you say that yours is?

  • very nice!

  • I ve got A Vox Amp (20 W) the DA20 and a gretsch Corvette (G5135)

  • im thinking of gettin a Vox to play my gretsch through... or an Orange

    not sure yet.

  • Go for the Vox. They make a good team.

  • Good playing my friend!

  • i want a white falcon.

    but i also need 3grand

  • Gretsch's own!

  • a vox and a beautiful gretch...u cant go wrong there!

  • Great sound, great to see such a guitar played

  • oh... gretsch...
