The fact is the Parthenon is itself, including the sculptures, a single work of art which was vandalized time and again over the years, most egregiously by Elgin. The British have the opportunity now to foster good will and pay the price for this vandalism and return them to Greece. Make the work of Ictinus and Callicrates as whole as possible again.

I visited Athens a few years back before the Museum.. Its nice to see a Museum with great artifacts... Great Simple Architecture, But the Architecture of the Museum does not even to seem to "Fit" the Great Athens..

B- Give the People Back there Marbles for crying out loud!

By the way i am living in Athens can really feel how precious the marbles are for this new museum and Athens. Britain has so much of diamond,gold and precious things that they looted from Asian countries which they have some reason for not giving back...but marbles from Partheneon!!! i dont know whats their problem...
