  • His name is Rodd Gilbert, and he's Welsh not British *facepalm*

  • @MrThesuperboy His name is RHOD Gilbert, and Wales IS IN Britain *facepalm*

  • this guy is world class

  • not funny, me been able to pull my foreskin over my dick is funnier

  • Why can't Americans realize there is 4 countries in the United kingdom no other country tags us under the one

England Scotland Wales and N.Ireland they all regcognise the 4 countries seperately

We wouldn't call USA Canada and Mexico North America

This man Rhod Gilbert is Welsh

  • Yep this truly is the pinnacle of British humour..... in case u haven't realised I'm being sarcastic thats absolute shit

  • Im American and since I'm of English ancestry I thought this would be hilarious to me. I'm not kidding you... I sat through this entire bloody video without even cracking a smile.

  • WELSH!

  • I know this isn't typical of an Englishman but.. I really like Welsh people. Scots and Irish can fuck off though.

  • @sheepeasy they might just do that when you grow up :)

  • Ugh. I hate Wales. YOU'RE NOT A COUNTRY. YOU'RE JUST A PART OF ENGLAND. I don't care what anyone says and I'll gladly fail a geography class, preventing my graduation, to stick by my statement.

  • @Elfinesmom

Wales is a country. It is different, it has different place names, landscape, language, culture, accent... above all, Welsh are quiet and self effacing. Why such vitriol towards them?

  • @irkibby *sigh* You're right. I'm pretty hostile about it aren't I? I can't help it. It just seems like there's hardly a difference at ALL in the two cultures from my foreign eyes. The language, I'll grant you, is different but in such an obnoxious way, All those consonants? It's almost aggressive. From where I stand it's like calling California a different country. They have their arrogant little "ways" that are different over there but it isn't it's own damn country. I need an alka seltzer.

  • @Elfinesmom So by dint of that I could theoretically be called a Welshman. Hmm..

  • @Elfinesmom hardly any difference? Try saying that to a Welshman who's Gran was oppressed by the English. And look up the history of each country.

  • @TheRushingWind

How was his gran oppressed by the English?

  • @hetrodoxly maybe not his Gran personally. But the English basically stole Wales from the Welsh and made them start speaking English and change signs etc.

  • @TheRushingWind

what have the English done with Wales? where have they hidden it? where are all the welsh people living?

  • @hetrodoxly funny

  • @TheChocolateCrazy121 Coming from the american.

The ones who have the most unintelligent slapstick humor ever made

  • Someone from Wales is Welsh AND British (though British is less specific). The UK is composed of Northern Ireland, Wales, Scotland, and England. Someone from any of those places is British (AND also Welsh if from Wales, Irish if from Northern Ireland, Scottish if from Scotland, and English if from England) because those areas together are aka Great Britian or just Britain.

  • @GhostHostAnth also more than related

  • rhod gilbert!! :)

  • lets clear this up - thumbs up english people here >>> welsch is not english!!!!

  • @bedds1 um ye but i think the issue here is whether welsh is british not english, your english if you are from england and have english heritage, but you are also british since you are from great Britain (e.g hugh laurie refers to himself as both english and british), so in this case you can be either called british (in technical and general terms) or english (considered more appropriate if you are).if no heritage, but are born in england, then you are british but cannot claim to be english :)

  • @bedds1

Welsh is not English, but we are British. I always introduce myself as British, but live and was born in Wales.

  • I might sound wrong to you but i asked a Spanish man who leaves in America. He thinks British comedy is funnier.

Only Americans think they are funny, you can be at sometimes but your nationalist attitude makes me sick. I might be very much Americanized and i still have a longtime dream of leaving to America but i will never agree that any of the two are better than each other.

In all honesty i am a fan of Japanese people really.

  • @ADRIANSITO13 TITS OR GTFO.

oh, wait. this isn't 4chan. shut the fuck up? you look like a total idiot. i'm guessing that's not far from the truth, but at least leave a little bit of mystery, fuckface.

  • @ashoftomorrow I look like an idiot? I don't see a picture of me anywhere on this site. You're a moron. If you reply you're just a child begging for my attention.

  • So this is British comedy. Pretty boring.

  • @AllAmericanGirl223 no. this is one guy from wales, that doesnt mean everyone from britian shares the same sense of humour

  • @sami2503, Wales is apart of Britain. It doesn't matter what this guy is. His humor is lame.

  • @AllAmericanGirl223 i know it is. I was just saying its a bit stupid to generalise a country's humour from one person

  • @AllAmericanGirl223 People in your country think carrot top is funny so I really don't think you can pass judgement on british comedy.

  • @elsparx, I hate carrot top. He's stupid and obnoxious. I don't care if he's American or not. I don't like his comedy act. I LOVE Gabriel Iglesias. He's a Mexican American comic. He is funny. You should look him up. Seriously, he's so freakin funny. He's a big guy. You'll know him when you see him. Trust me, he will have you cry laughing.

  • Would y'all stop bickering and pussying about and just tell me who this guy is?

  • @DrP1po rhod gilbert

  • any1 in an argument who comes out with the line "you need to watch tv" instantly fails @nitro855

  • he welsh

  • rhod gilbert is quality

  • Americans are so silly

  • @Radz117 he from britian you dum fuck

  • @nitro855 Really I never knew that?! I wasn't referring to him you moron. How ironic someone who can't form a sentence or spell the word 'dumb' and 'Britain' is calling me dumb.

  • @Radz117 shut up man i got a A* in English Literature so hang yourself

  • british comedy is the best!! fukin yanks

  • British comedy, the disapointing thing for americans is you have to think to get it...

  • you just keep saying that to yourself...

  • very funny and cute..haha

  • Funny guy. Typical aussies! We are too laid back. haha.

  • Yes, because every comedian from every part of Britain has the exact same style of comedy.

    Fuck off.

  • (that was in reply to neverwasapunk16)

  • Usually ur suppose to put comments on the video. so here it goes.....

    Good Not Great...

    Funny lol.

    not Funny lmao funny....

  • Northern Ireland is part of great britain! i know because the diagonal red lines in the Union Jack is the ST Patricks cross, the flag of N. Ireland. Also wales is just as british as the rest. the only reason they dont have a contribution to the flag is that they have a dragon, not a cross as their symbol.

  • Wales is part of Britain you fucking retards.

  • @CyrusGuitar - what do you expect? youtube is from America, so of course you're going to see comments from fucking retards! lol

  • Type in 'Rhod Gilbert Comedy Store' and you can see his special he did at the london comedy store. it's absolutley fantastic stuff. one of my favourite comics on the circuit at the moment, very funny guy.

  • Fairly famous guy but he wouldn't be in my top 10 British stand-ups..

  • thats welsh.

  • nobody said it wasnt welsh, the title says british.

  • You're one of these idiots that thinks the British is just London, and automatically think of a posh accent when mocking the British. Idiot, LOL.

  • What? I'm English you twat! It's just that I have national pride in differentiating between the British nations. I was just pointing out that HocVirtus was correct.

  • Nope, you got caught out and are now pretending to be british (best nationality) Nice try, aussie.

  • What kind of twat are you. I was born in Aldershot, I live in North Hampshire. I am English! You need to realise that "British" isnt a nationality, no matter how many goverment documents seem to think so! Britain is a collection of countries. I am English, this comedian is Welsh!

  • .......which is in britain

  • WALES!!!!

  • altho this guy is welsh, im glad sum1 has called im british for 1 reason n 1 reason only. most of britian dnt conisder them selves british but welsh or english or woteva, its only eva english ppl that get called british wen they go abroad, the welsh n scottish r nown as welsh n scottish but its the english that lose their national identity n it annoys me cos im english n hate bein called british wen scottish n welsh r not even tho they r also part of britain...im not sure if this makes sence btw

  • and irish :D

  • i was gona include ireland but i wernt sure if they wer british lol cos they hav ther own team in the olympics rava than bein part of GB

  • Well Northern Ireland is part of team GB in the olympics.

  • orite wel i dint no that

  • Though northern Ireland is not part of Great Britain - Great Britain is England, Wales, Scotland - The United Kingdom is England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland. True fact, I found out after y rather pushy geography tutor once corrected me, lol

  • Yer I know, but in the Olympics, Northern Irish people compete for Great Britain.

  • I think you're overreating, although it's more common for english people to be called british rather than english, that's because scottish and welsh people aren't english. But seriously, it's more to do with the accents, because more British people are English, that's what is considered the British accent (more specifically, South England (even more specific, London)).

  • I'm english, well half welsh and my name is scottish (callum), my dads welsh an me ma is english but i live in liverpool wales is part of the uk an it deserves to be i love the welsh !!! :) rhod gilbert is shit hot !! :D steve hughes an bill bailey ownnnnnnn XD

  • Let me put this simple, Wales may be technically part of Britian, but that doesn't mean we consider ourselves British, thats just a convenience to apply for a passport, we completely different from the English, we're more atuned to the scots and irish, you know, we actually like them.

Im seeing a few comments hear saying 'oh us english dont want you welsh as part of Britain' well let me tell you, there would never have been an 'empire' without wales, England would crumble within a few years.

  • It's Rhod Gilbert.

  • He is also British obviously - I forgot to mention that. So there is no error in what the original poster wrote in his description. He is Welsh, British and a subject of the United Kingdom. And incredibly funny, does anyone know his name...

  • 1. He is Welsh and fantastic.

    2. Britain is Wales, Scotland and England

    3. United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is the official name.

    4. Wales is a country just like the USA is a country but it is also part of a combination of countries.

    8. The British Isles (a geographical grouping not a political one) includes Britain and the Irish Island as well as the 1000+ islands surrounding it.

    9. Great Britain is the third most populous island IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!!

  • "4. Wales is a country just like the USA is a country"

Not really, it's more like a state in the USA, it doesn't have it's own currency or army etc

  • Wales is a 'Constituent country'like England. part of the United Kingdom...now stop arguing ffs

  • It's only non-British people that have caused the argument because they don't understand.

  • Yeah he's Welsh

  • btw he said british guy... not english

  • Yanks think British is the same as English so I was just putting that out there.

  • wales may be small and not have its own government etc etc, but its got more history and culture than the usa

  • Wales is barely a country.... read into the union acts. but British people are great.

  • erm. go to hell. wales is as much a country as USA is.

  • well, not technically. but in spirit, sure, why not.

  • I love the Welsh accent - it works great for comedy.

  • ....Wales= small county in the West of England!

    FACT!

  • overlandnsea-

    wrong!

wales is a principality not a country

    just like monacco.

    britain is a kingdom

and canada and australiia are realms.

    fact!

  • It does'nt have its own government, therefore not a country, its in london AKA its apart of the country United kingdom, whose government is in london.

  • ROFL WALES IS IN LONDON PEOPLE!

  • Jesus. All three of you are very very ignorant. Wales is one of the four countries that make up the United Kingdom (or Britain). The four countries are England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

  • Actually I think its not that simple, a country is a country when it has a government contyrolling it, if it does not, it isn't anything, just a piece of land.

In the Uk it is more complex because we have the central government in london covering the UK, and devolved governments in those four parts, which are not necessarily countries (although they were before they joined the union)

  • gutted your welsh

  • I fucking love this lad =D

    Being a Welshman obv xD

    haha

  • its french you ideots

  • not funny prick

  • A posh suitcase... with wheels! haha!

  • that's rhodri morgan you planks.

he's WELSH and has appeared on mock the week a few times.

    he's quite good, actually.
