  • How many times was I told that I was depraved and rotten to the core? Millions of times ever since I was three. I'm glad you exposed that lie. What I hear is the Holy Spirit, truth and freedom too.

  • Thanks for your messages--I am so glad I came across you on Youtube--I am sure people will find something wrong with you and you'll be labelled a heretic--but what I hear is the Holy Spirit and truth and freedom.

  • Eze 36:26 will be fulfilled in Israel, it is all about Israel. This is literally talking about keeping all of the Mizvot in Torah, all +613, to the ninth degree, as the priestly nation should.

    Jeremiah 31:33, same thing.

What this means is that nobody on earth has yet been given a new heart of flesh, the context of these packages is totally different than what you are trying to say.

Besides, "Old Covenant" is a lie! In hebrew the "New" Covenant is "Renewed Covenant" (Jer 31).

  • @keksinnot

The Hebrews are still waiting for the Messiah, so to them, there is no New or Renewed Covenant.

  • @blueskunk12

The fact that some of them are waiting for the Covenant does not mean that none of the are in the Covenant. I am in the Covenant.

The Hebrews that are in the Covenant are simply not able to keep the commandments of God yet, and all people look to Him through a thick glass. When we'll see face to face, we'll have a new heart and we'll be able to walk in all the commandments of God.

And the Egyptians who joined with Israel did also keep the commandments of God, it's a prophecy.

  • @keksinnot

I didn't say that none are in the Covenant. I said is that since the Hebrews deny that Jesus is the Christ (Messiah), that there is no (re)New Covenant. They believe that there is still only ONE Covenant, the Mosaic.

Either we are still to follow the Old Covenant (in which case Christianity is heresy and blasphemous), or we have a New Covenant.

You still haven't proven your point. So I ask you directly, what proof do you have that the (re)New Covenant is one of obedience?

  • Another misdirection, to site Paul as the author did, "Joh 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

Joh 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

Joh 3:21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.", so yea, the unsaved man is still evil.

  • steve, more people need to hear these videos

  • Steve I have to disagree with you due to Jeremiah 17:9 and Romans 3:10 and 3:23.

  • He's wrong on this one. Dismissing the old covenant and the old testament is not a good idea in the long run. The two compliment each other, that is not to say that we have to abide by the law. An if he is making us a new creation INSTANTLY, there would be no such thing as sanctification. This is perilously close to allowing any believer to do what ever they want.

  • @hvacrjohn

Which Covenant are we under, the Old or the New? If we are still under the Old Covenant, then it's laws, ordinances, and regulations still apply, don't they?

And if they still apply, we still have to keep them. Otherwise, God will be displeased with us.

But God has given us a NEW Covenant, one not based on obedience as with the Old Covenant, but based on faith in Jesus Christ.

As for doing whatever we want, try reading Romans ch 6 & 7.

  • @blueskunk12

Please don't assume. Its not good form. I am a christian and the whole bible is God's word. I listen to all of it and know that I cannot keep the law, I am justified by faith in Christ and his atoning work. As a Christian you should not assume from what I said above, I am glad you know scripture, but don't hammer someone when you can only read between the lines.

  • @hvacrjohn

Then why are you doing what you ask me to not do?

  • @blueskunk12 You are sooooooo wrong to say the new covenant is not based on obedience!!!

  • @TheReubenDean

    Prove it.

  • @hvacrjohn That is covered in the video: "Nobody is perfect". The sanctification that the Holy Spirit do is in the soul and the body. The Spirit has already been sanctified by Jesus...

  • Truly converted Christians still sin....therefore, they have wicked hearts.

    It's not a lie.

As Christians we must be aware that our hearts are still wicked so we stand as dedicated soilders of the faith.

There are too many Chistians out in the world thinking their hearts are completely pure doing whatever they think the Holy Spirit is telling them.

I suggest you do a deep Study of John Chapter 8 and 9

    Especially John 9:41

  • I always appreciate it when folks give a reference for the passage(s) they're commenting on. The reference for this subject is Jeremiah 17:9. I have a friendly question for the author of this post. How does the context of this passage relate to the Old Covenant? I interpret this passage as one that relates the age old struggle between flesh and spirit. In this case, putting confidence in the flesh is the issue. That struggle is every bit as prevalent under the New Covenant. What am I missing?

  • The key is that there is still a struggle between the flesh and the the spirit, but we have the victory over the flesh as we rest in Christ's finished work. (Rom 8:1-2) The old sin nature has died (Rom 6:6) and now we have a new heart, just as God promised through Ezekiel.

  • Psalm 10:12-14

It may be an old covenant but look at this world.

The hearts of men are still wicked. In the church or not.

  • Not according to the Apostle Paul.

  • and what verse is that? according to the Apostle Paul

Have you examined the scriptures based on who he was talking to and why.

Sometimes Paul was talking to a group that claimed to be christians but they were not acting like it and sometimes he was talking to a group of people that were very true christians and producing great fruit.

  • What an utter load of crock! You christians are really messed up in the head, aren't you?

  • :) Glad you have us all figured out. Any chance you have your own issues going? Maybe a heart problem?

  • Nah - don't you wish so, with your so-called "christian" love? I'm fine as I am.

  • Any particular reason you choose to be anonymous on YouTube?

  • Not really - I'm just new, and still feeling my way around.

  • Examine yourself to see if you are in Christ....

If you are not in Christ then your heart IS desperately wicked

  • Of course, but this video speaks to the fact that Christians are told this.

  • Mathew 5 "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished." The old testament is just as true as the new testament. The new covenant comes from recognizing our depraved heart and allowing Jesus blood to make us a new creation

  • 7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no occasion sought for a second. Then verse 13: When He said, "A new covenant," He has made the first OBSOLETE. But whatever is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to disappear.

Of course, OT Scriptures are true, but you don't know the difference between the old and new covenants. The new covenant comes from Christ's death not my recognizing anything. It's SALVATION that comes from recognizing and repenting.

  • Yes, the OT is as true as the NT, but we need to "rightly divide the Word." Jesus was the fulfillment of the OT Law and when we trust Him we receive a new heart.

  • Steve, it is very difficult for "christians" who still believe in dualism (two-natures, Taoism, etc.) to understand the idea that "ALL things have become NEW..." What a joy to know that He is my life and that sin does not have DOMINION over me like I use to think it did. It AINT about performance, which is what the dualists teach. Keep it up, my friend.

  • Steve, a reborn Christian does not have a new heart the instant that they are saved. The apostle Paul taught us to mortify the deeds of the flesh so great is our propensity to sin (Romans 8:13) - the same man who was so blessed by God the he was given a "thorn in his flesh" to keep him from falling into the sin of pride (2 Cor 12:7).

Our sins are in remission and we are being renewed day by day. We remain sinful and imperfect until we die but we are convicted to reach for perfection.

  • In 2 Corinthians 4:16 Paul writes, "we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day."

Romans 12:2, says, "do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect."

  • So you would believe that the prophecy in Ezekiel about God putting a new heart in us hasn't come true yet? The inner man is being renewed as we learn more and more about who we already are in Christ.

  • No, I do believe that God gives us a new heart upon conversion however, we continue to sin which much be repented of daily for the renewal process/sanctification to continue. If we do not repent of our sins daily and resist the conviction of the Holy Spirit we may silence Him for a time (Ephesians 4:30, 1 Thessalonians 5:19).

Since the renewal is gradual, confession and submission is essential. The new heart is filled with new desires but the flesh desires to sin hence the inner war.

  • Steve, this verse is talking about pre conversion. So before we come to Christ, we are totally depraved. So I think you lose your point here.

  • Hmm? Aren't we saying the same thing? The heart is wicked pre-conversion but is made righteous at salvation.

  • what makes you think that? This is an OT verse, so how can it be talking about coming to Christ?

  • I am trying to figure out why 6 months later, you are messaging me? LOL. I had to really search to figure out what was said previously. :) All I can guess is...the heart is deceitfully wicked. Yes it is. Just because it is in the old testament, doesnt mean its void now. All the descriptions of man in the old testament, didnt change after Christ came. We are still dead in our sins, slaves to sin, prior to conversion. Not sure if that is what you are asking me or not. God Bless.

  • I just saw your comment :) I have a ton of videos on here with a zillion comments on them.

In fact, much of what is in the OT is void now -such as the old covenant of Law. If Christ coming doesn't change us when we trust Him, what's the point? Christians aren't dead in our sins still. We've been made alive through Him. Anyway, enough. Let's do this again .... in six months :)

  • I understand and agree about the OT law. But the law is not nullified.( For the the unbeliever) But we(christians) are under Grace. And I agree, if we are born again in Christ, we are changed. We are alive in Christ. But a true believer, will keep His commandments, and they will not be burdensome. 1John 5:3.

  • Amen, my brother.

"Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil." (Matthew 5:17)

  • Love it man...Keep going!!!

  • That true. Amen bro.

  • Yes you can trust the Holy spirit..But the devil is deceitful, and until we are in Heaven the evil one will rome to and fro..putting things in front of you to question the WORD. Renewing the mind and transforming the heart, not the mind is renewed now its all done dont worry...satin is tricky!

  • I haven't seen all of the 101 lie clips, but so far this is one I'm not sure about. I understand that God said he would put a new heart in us, but the question is, when does this happen. Paul said that God is conforming us into the image of his son. That's why he said in Philippians that it's not as though we have already attained, nor already perfect. We must press toward the mark, and die daily to our flesh. Until then, our hearts are still very much wicked, and must be dealt with daily.

  • Deceitfully* :)
