A little boy about 2 years old was killed on the train tracks during a field trip to the beach at a park near me...when I was little we used to have to cross 2 rows of tracks and it was very scary for a child and dangerous...finally they built an overpass in the little boy's memory so you don't have to walk on the tracks, and they put up fences with razor wire on the top so people couldn't have access to the tracks.
