You have completely missed the point of Oasis. They didn’t dress like rock stars or look like them they dressed like normal people.

Back then NO rock band was doing this bands like Suede and GNR dressed like “rock stars” and every US band dressed like Nirvana. Ok maybe Blur, were slightly on the same “everyman” dress but that was it.
