Nice review. I got it the 2nd day and I endured long enough to get all the MK endings and about 3 DC endings but I cant bring myself to be interested enough to get all the DC endings so i dont have them. Its like I dont even have the game, I regret buying it. Ed boon has one more chance to make a good game or I'm done with MK forever lol. The endings suck and I'd rather do green lantern's hammer than do his fatality, the fatalities suck as well.

I don't know what u people are complaining about. I thought that the story mode is awesome. It really told the story of how the 2 worlds start to merge to 1. Granted, the Fatalities/Brutalities r a tad bad, but it does bring something new to the table for newer games in the future, in which btw, MK will have another game. It will just be a MK game, no crossovers, and the game will be back to M rated. This game wasn't really about the finishes, but how well 2 different franchises can do as 1

Scorpion's Fatality has remained the same because it is a classic and should never be changed... when I was little I used to dislike scorpion for various reasons but I always gave him credit for the amazing fatalities....

ok you have to consider how much time they had to work on this game and MK has been doing those types of endings since the beginning accept for MK4, and they can put story mode because the fact that they wanted to make a story explaining the crossover was nice something no other cross over game ever did.

and you say it takes to long both sides have 7 to 8 chapters and you can skip the cut scenes im sure.

(cont.) the endings of course they aren't gonna be to your expectations because its a crossover game. it has no canon storyline to the MK universe they are endings involving the aftermath of this crossover. what other endings were you expecting this game took place during MK 2-3 we already knew what happened during those games it wouldn't make sense to give us the same endings.

the fatality's you can blame DC for not wanting a mature rating if they aloud M rating the fatality's would be better.

but you have to consider replay ability having just arcade mode would be lame and already bore you now a days fighting games have to give us more than just an arcade mode.

MK has always been known for their story as well the point of MK was they wanted a game with its own epic story.

(though you gotta admit its been less than epic these lasts few years :/ )

I kinda disagree with you on the story. I thought that the story was well written and decent. It was written by renowned comic book writers, in fact that was the only good thing about the game.However I do realize that the cutscene slows down the pace of the game because of its genre. The overall gameplay of all of the charaters are bland and basic besides the special moves.The game is average at best.

i find it funny how people think they could do a better story considering it was written by the DC writers plus what other plot could someone come up with? 2 worlds are merging because of 2 ultimate bad guys merged together :/

It's a stupid storyline, and it's a stupid idea for a game. The only reason it was made was to cash in on the MK and DC names.
