@nickokal this song as a feel of 1st world war. it was when France, joined by Brits, Russia (and later, US of A). went war against Austria, Germany, and Ottoman....

i'm not sure if the 'central powers' faction uses conscription but France do! ever since the 1st republic, through Napoleon days, right to the first world war.

Not a Kylie-fan at all, but I like the melody and the arrangement of this song. In fact I think it is the only song I like of her. Wonder how Shirley Bassey would sound like with the exact same sound-mixing. But who on earth has written those stupid lyrics ... sure is a good dance number even though I don't care about that, but this great melody has deserved really good lyrics as well.
