  • Ambition for fame/money/unneeded possessions is an abused substance far worse than any chemical drug.Even if he doesn't know it he's closer to God than most so-called priests,... is that a good enough reason to live on the streets?

  • 0:30 is that Paulie from Rocky that walks past? :P nice playing though :D

  • Honestly, in NYC, there are thousands of guys who play at least that good. That's why they wind up playing in subway stations and street corners.

  • @plangentmusic your a fuckin idiot. You think you know skills, you dont know shit, this guy is fuckin fantastic, so much feel in his playing..

  • @RockBand072 I didn't say he was bad. He's real good. But you're probably right. All the best.

  • Co ob robi na ulicy? Miejsce dla takich jest na scenie i to dużej.

  • DUDE ITS TIM!

  • Kid at 2:13 - I'll bet any money that after that performance he either asked his mom for a guitar or went home and practised like hell.

  • It amazes me that when we got people like beiber and gage that are hitting the mainstream of todays pop culture , america has completely by passed these geniuses

  • @30inventionman ya isnt it sad? life today....

  • why would people give him money if he can afford a guitar

  • @pastranaland25 because it looks like its about the only thing he does have

  • What is it with guitarists and always having to tell everyone how much better they could do it?

  • Good tap solo

  • What's the f... this guy is doing in the subway of paris, it's too good.

  • damn, such short parts of the greatest legendary amazing best terrific street guitarist, i´ve ever listen too... MORE!!!! i have not enough money to travel to paris!

  • What Is This Master Guitarist Doing On The Street ???????? God Must Have A place For Him , I Know I Do In My Band ... Jojo Taylor !

  • Comment removed

  • Hes a master guitarist bc he can tap? O.o

  • @anthonyac2 It's not about the tapping, it's about the emotion behind what he's playing.

  • agreeed man that solo almost made me cry :) it made me think of my past it was really touching in my opinion.....

  • @anthonyac2 i can tap across the pentatonic scale that means i must be a a masterclass guitarist too. lmao

I want to see him string skip tap.

  • hey man it's the emotion....who cares about the tapping....i mean it's a good skill... but its all from the heart....

  • @1withguitar He's actually playing stuff from the natural minor scale. Pentatonic scale is a scale with five notes in it (hence PENTAtonic) the scale he's playing includes the notes not included in the minor pentatonic scale, namely the second and sixth degrees.

Also, do you mean sweet tap? Thought so.

  • @TheDancingSaxophone what the fuck? do you think i dont know what the natural minor scale is? is that some kind of a joke? of course i know what the prefix penta-means i was replying to another comment, i know pentatonic scales are within the natural minor....within the natural minor is also the japanese pentatonic the hirojoshi scale and its modes. im not an idiot. i know what a pentatonic scale it. no i meant string skip tap as in i go from e to g string or further. sweep tapping is easier.

  • hes relly good got more taste than most shredders

  • Kid with his mom: mom I want a guitar!

Black guy on the left: I gotta learn how to play guitar.

Guy with the glasses: o.o I'm so lame...

  • are el talent dar e foarte rau ca il dedica drogurilor!

  • why is that guy playing on the streets he is amazing??

  • is he filming the musician or using him as an excuse to film the girls passing around?

  • @mrxxx lol there´s an idea! No, I stopped dead in my tracks upon hearing this guy playing and started filming witha what little space I had left on my lcamera: But you´re right, this one girl caught my eye and I got distracted.. lol

  • @mrxxx They are French girls, so who can blame him!

  • So much talent, it's a shame that almost undoubtedly, any money that he makes goes to drugs.

  • @xLucidNightmaresx dont go judging ppl so quickly. if he were a real junkie he would have traded his guitar in. the only drug he needs is blues rock

  • @xxaq11xx Why would he live on the streets if he had a talent as good as this? He probably makes at least 15 bucks in an hour of plalying, and on good days I'm sure he makes 3 or 4 times that.

  • @xLucidNightmaresx whether its because he lost his job or whether hes just happier just spreading the music, he probably has a good reason for playing on the streets. im just saying dont make him out for a druggie just cuz he plays on the street. what do we even know about the video? some ppl only need basic sustenance and music to live a fulfilling life and based on your response you obviously dont understand that. most mainstream promoters these days take away the souls of the performers.

  • @xxaq11xx No, I really don't understand why anyone would choose to live on the streets actually. And I don't understand where all the money he makes goes either.

  • @xLucidNightmaresx

Yes, What A Shame. PLEASE : Don't Do Drugs .

Drugs Abuse Can Cause Genius Guitar Playing Skills.

Seems like this guy abuses more than Alcohol. I suppose a new type of drug, thats lets him mentally connetct and transform himself to his own guitar.

    At Least:

PLEASE stop making worthless and useless comments. This forces me to answer with worthles and useless replys.

  • @deka273 Well, then think about it this way; Why would a musician with such amazing talent, choose to live on the street? Many musicians get into music and are introduced into the world of drugs that is rather common with musicians. I think that you are interpreting my comment to make it fit the image you have of me that is an arrogant dumbass. But, everyone has their own opinion, and I don't see any other reason that a man with such a talent to be homeless.

  • @xLucidNightmaresx

BTW: That is no pro or con argumentation, just wanna be sure you have in mind, that nearly every gifted genius musician, writer, thinker, actor, artist or wtf ever, used or abused substances.

You can not make extraordinary Art with an ordinary mind.

Nearly Each Genius Works was driven by an Broken Soul.

So, might There, possibly may be a connection?

If what we see is the price, i just wanna say,

please give me the bill, i want to pay.

    Free 2 ur Mind

    & ur Fingers

  • @deka273 Well, I didn't read this before posting the reply to your previous comment. I know that many great musicians have abused substance, and many have developed a substance abuse problem/addiction. I would consider myself to be one of those with an extraordinary mind as I am a relatively talented percussionist and I too, have a substance abuse problem. For me, I started with the drug abuse when life became dull, and I'm aware that some start as a way to try to cope.

  • everettwilliams31 what a lonely pointless twat you are

  • I wouldnt mind giving him a few dollars to support his drug habit, shits good.

  • I can do that and I've never had a guitar in my hands, see you beat that. And plus I work for a living, and don't bum all day.

  • @everettwilliams31 Don't have too be so obvious, obvious troll

  • @everettwilliams31 yeah but hes a nice person somthing you have lots of problems with aint you?

  • feel the PAINNNNNNN....!

  • lol, 2:07

  • How can people just walk by and pay no attention to this talent?

  • He sold his soul for guitar playing skills but not for a fame???

  • @MegaMancino i'd do the same thing :) no one needs fame!

  • rumor has it that this might be chuck norris.....

  • anyone notice how the camera guy checked out the girls ass at 2:07 lol

  • only one reason a man with a talent ends on the street : vice.

  • this hobo met robert johnson's cross road demon

  • nice playing ,

  • ITS GOD!!!

  • awesome!!!

  • Niiiiiiiice

  • Can't believe I got here from a simple search for 1970's 'Picture Box'!

  • obviously hes not doin to bad, hes got a freakin full throttle right there, that shit is like 3 bucks.

  • plenty reasons why a gifted musician could end up on the street, including the old 'guitar player' joke, "between girlfriends". Interestingly, he's using backing tracks and portable amplification, so he likely has access to electricity, though the roll cart with what looks like a bedroll might be an indication...if he's homeless, it's not been for long, as he still has a guitar; it's really hard to keep much of anything for long, if you don't have a place to stash it.

  • How do people just walk past him >!!?!

  • HOW THE FUCK IS HE HOMELESS?

  • homeless in style

  • why does pple doesn't understand that the meaning that he has a grat guitar it doesn't means he can be homeless... i mean how can you know he doesn't loose it all?

  • 2:28 Peter Parker ? :)

  • I enjoyed that, whatever his reason for being there. I remember a lady playing

the violin o/s a concert hall, I said to a passer by she is amazing. The passer by looked at me and said "Don't you know her?" No I said, I was offered a name.

and the comment: "She is a member of the philharmonic, but she just loves to play". "Normally you would have to pay to see her play".

Please, give people the credit they deserve.

You just might have been given something quality pro bono.

  • Bloody awesome!!!

  • ppl would pay good money to learn that, no need for busking

  • They walk among us....

  • @DanTheBrahman I didn't expect that response

  • @DanTheBrahman that's kind of hostile. the guy's just watching, no need to call him an idiot.

  • he rocks

  • Glory and money is only for the assholes of Star Academy.

Fuck it.. Where's this world going to?

  • pura poesia : secondo voi suona per vivere o vive per suonare?

  • hope ill playat least 1 percent as good as him...

  • I wonder now why just Van Halen became a wowfukdaworldImaherosoIcanwearanygayclothes

  • Like.. He's good and stuff but it would be annoying to have some dude blasting his amp and throwing his music in your face like that. Reminds me of guitar center.

  • GET THAT MAN A RECORD DEAL!

  • All hail to him! O.o

  • What is that backing track?

  • Ne serait-ce pas Lars Eric Mattsson ?

  • This is a flash forward to 20 years later, when the band didn't get that big record deal and the musician didn't have any other marketable skills to fall back on. Every 16 year old kid who thinks his 8 power chords are going to bring him fame and fortune needs to be shown this video. Pursue your dreams, but it's unwise to put all your eggs in one basket, lest you wind up as the most talented bum on the corner should things not go as planned.

  • c est peut etre IBANEZ low cost :

mais il sait s en servir !

  • This gentleman and many like him are homeless because shit bags like you steal crap music off the internet like Justin gayber and emicum formally known as marshal faggot, instead of paying for quality performances.

  • @bebe3rdID I don't know about MANY like him. MANY people are homeless because....

    a) drug addiction

    b) life of crime/gangs

    c) mentally unstable

  • I can't believe that a big crowd doesn't immediately gather as soon as he starts playing.

  • @nixonatorator That is not an Ibanez Prestige. It's the low-cost Ibanez RG370-DX.

  • @Stratocaster50six

And then what?Try to listen to the guy.He dont care whether its a gibfender or something,he just wanna play, and he do pretty good in my humble opinion.

  • @Stratocaster50six oh come on man the guy is obviously not homeless, he owns a guitar, two amps, and a mic. people just wear dirty clothes and go to the street for getting extra money trying to look pitiful and doing stuff, of course, it might not be the case but I doubt so

  • GAWD THATS SICK!!!!!!

  • homeless, scam artist, whatever. this guy is rediculous, bottom line

  • talented fucker isnt he!!!!

  • See what happens when people don't buy Joe Satriani's albums.

  • i met him in paris an actually he is a homeless you can see him at place de la bastille

  • @itsfire Is he still there?

  • how do you play like that?

i want to learn so bad!

  • ;o

    AWESOME

  • I don't think he's homeless.I don't know that guy.But he's really good.He's a decent class player.So I think he's got a band,just maybe he tries to sing and play in public too,who knows...

  • that happens when you study music

  • Great playing

  • I have that guitar!!! =)

  • Oh and don't be surprised at all by the people that just walk by... as they say the worst thing in Paris are the Parisians :)

  • lick from 00:07 to 00:12 makes me hard

  • I got the strange impression, that, for some reason this is Alex Skolnick. But he is way younger and way richer...

  • 1:57 D< bitch

  • Stupid peoples dont even listen to him!! That man is great!1

  • find this guy and put him in a band...he is REALLY good...anyone know who he is?

  • ive been playing guitar for more thn a year now, and i dont feel comfortable playing with my nails. is it okay if i play with my flesh??? my friend says even if i dont use nails my muscles will be stronger over time so i will be louder, is this true? plz smbody answer im rly desperate

  • @mojojojo671 playing with your fingers without nail is fine, when finger picking. if you play electric its best to use a pick. at one stage i had longer finger nails and it was okay it just feels different.

  • ahh! and he dont have a pick

  • Dude can shred

  • world of music is hard... and sometimes is stupid..

men is amazing guitar player, but not have money and live in the street..

to be famous, you have to be the son of wealthy parents or very lucky.

I just think the man amazing -

    congratulations from portugal

  • Damn this is good stuff. When ur broke as hell thats the thing for great inspiration. These rich kids cant put soul into their playing like this guy does.

  • could've just filmed the babes while this dude ripped away on the soundtrack..lol

  • i 'd rather become a homeless to get his skills !

  • I need a purchase the guitar signature of this Sr haha xD

  • 1. The people that walk pass you that doesn't give a shit are deaf

    2. If you would have played in Stockholm, Sweden there wouldn't be no need to go to a night club or such. People would've just stand there and get and eargasm

    3. Stop fuck around on the streets. Go to a studio an record you guitar slinging expertice

    4. To f*cking good to be in a band

  • that's awesome! dude has got no home, but he still got he's dear guitar!!!!!

  • what i want to know is where a begger got the money for that ibanez :D

  • lol hesorta looks like lars ulrich.. but this guy has much more talent..

  • It's amazing how a guy like this is playing in the streets while someone like Rebecca Black or Justin Bieber are famous. Shitty world.

  • im crying bitch! ._.

  • Hes homeless cause hes unlucky and not even that great. no soul, just shredding and fast playing. nothing special

  • @colombianbrucelee dude, you need to die.

  • Is he even using a pic. It looks like it sometimes but then he switches to finger tapping and I can't see one....curious.

  • From 1:25 to 1:35 was EEEEEEPPPPIIIICCCCC! (EPIC)

  • does anybody know name of this song?

  • I'm homeless, let me demonstrate this with my ibanez prestige.

  • I would pay to see this guy

  • @nixonatorator I bet you he has a 10 mil$ contract and he just playing on the streets for fun on the prestige ...

Man ppl are so dumb these days !!!!

  • @nixonatorator actually,i think it's an Ibanez RG370DXZ-BK

  • @nixonatorator That's not a Prestige, it's only an RG350. $400 here in Canada.

  • @nixonatorator An Ibanez prestige would be cheaper then paying rent.

Plus the guitar is more usefull and something to be proud of.

  • @nixonatorator

    That is an RG.

  • This is going to give a lot of other musicians the idea. If they are broke, all they have to do is get them a little roller cart, load it up with poverty rags, and find them a good place in the city where many people are, and then just start entertaining. Alice Mosely in the New York subways, makes more money probably daily than she ever would selling records. Check her out, and see how loaded with cash her box gets filled with for entertaining out in public.

  • No one with this type of talent is actually living on the street unless they choose to. A lot of people would take this fellow in, who are trying to get together a group themselves. I do think it is all a put on, like the fellow years ago who had no legs, and would beg daily on a little roller cart in the city, and at the end of the day, a limousine would pick him up
