Global warming isn't a "movement," it's basic physics. The heat-trapping abilities of CO2 have been known since at least 1896. It only became "controversial" when it was realized we had to do something about it. The people who deliberately set out to politicize AGW are the only real conspirators.

I've seen "Fall of the Republic" in its entirety and can say there are some pretty slick editing jobs, though it does almost make too much sense at times.
