There was a Lot of commercialism & contracts back then, but yeah, it still somehow feel like we lost the true essence of skateboard firstly somewhere around late 80's, then the new essence around late 90's. Today it's Energy Drinks all over the place, MTV & family fun...

All the shit goin down in this video was almost 10 years ago, video came out in '99, so ahead of it's time..Smolik switch F/S tailslide 270 heelflip out, F/S tailslide 180 switch B/S tailslide shove it out, Turner switch hardflip F/S noseslide shove it out!!?? Not even to mention the ridiculous parts Dave Mayhew, Chris Dobstaff, Chad Fernandez, and Kanteen Russell put together..those were my favorites, but everybody else's parts were really good too. I still watch this and get hyped to skate.

Yeah I miss those days. When this movie came out I skated every day. It´s like the most addictive thing I have done. Now it´s about 8 years ago since I quit skateing. I want to try it some day again but I´m old now (25 Y old).

I had the ODS's three straight times and his shorty's SOTY deck after this vid came out, never got the SAG no Drag pants that went with the shoes though.This video was the pinnacle of true skateboarding before every company dived in and messed it up.
