use Libra before you start, cuz the annoying thing is that if u haven't killed one of these before or haven't used libra and survived, your allies wont use enfire.

@19Kumar94, so true even with a magi power of 2560 and a Nirvana my Vanille only does about 450000 damage with Death.

@tsheringwb the real trick to having your death do 1m damage is to switch to COM/COM/COM before it hits. you also need faithera bravera, and enfire casted

This method is BULLSHIT, it doesn't work, you obviously added more accesories + weapons after you showed the first bit. i followed this step by step with better items higher in the crystarium everything. this oesnt work.

@itsbrandon4life Did you use libra on the Long Gui? If you didn't, then they won't cast enfire. Obviously you've checked that they actually have it in their crystarium?

@oFoxo1 well, if everyone is at level 5, com/com/com provides 280% damage bonus, then also 120% from adrenaline if vanille's hp is in the green. You do the math and tell me if more than triple the damage is worth switching.

@fbGorillius How effective is this method for a maxxed party? I have 3 tier3 weapons and pretty much the rest of accessories but I still need traps and Dark Matter. My only doubt is in the amount of time needed for recharging TPs. How many Long Guis can you kill per hour usually?

Call me a noob here but............how come your death seems to do so much damage? atmost, mine only does around 100-200k damage and I've got 2200+ magic

@raikoh121 did you switch to com/com/com? does vanille have lvl 5 com? did you use faithra? did you use enfire? if any of those are no, there's your answer.

@fbGorillius Actually, scratch my previous comment. I worked it out, didn't think vanille with comm was much of an investment. Leveled her up and killed it..

I keep getting trapezohedrons from them, sadly...(trying to farm cash as I have enough trapezohedron)

@fbGorillius sorry reply took forever, but anyway my crystarium is maxed out and i farmed 6 traps from eden. do you think im ready to eat long gui steaks medium-rare? xD

@soul899ers well, if you have your traps already, it kinda defeats the purpose of killing long gui. if you want to kill one just for the adamant will trophy, go for it. I showed videos like this cuz the whole point was that long gui doesn't take much in the way of stats and you can farm them before you have the traps.
