  • I thought Eon Blue Apocalypse was on a steel string acoustic!

  • nice

  • a lot of bad parts.... also some problems with the time....

  • This is kinda funny. In many vids of Tool songs covers you can see animals near the dude who's playing.

EVEN ANIMALS LOVES TOOL SONGS! =D

  • What effects you use?

  • Man, you have some small hands..

  • Marshall 60 watt ?

  • Cheers dude - you helped me figure this one out...

  • did u learn from tabs?

  • This song is alot of fun to play.

  • keep up the good work. i love this song.

  • gj bro :)

  • I love how your cat is just chilling on your amp.

  • haha yeah I was just learning how to play back then.

  • lol haha lol awesome, true though

  • u messed up right at the 2nd best part :(

guess no1 can play it quite like Adam

this is my fav Tool song by the way

  • Come on man, that was pretty damn sloppy in places, esp some of the transitions. Use your pinky more, too.

  • I havent found one cover yet where wah is used in the intro like it should be ;(

  • There isn't any wah for the guitar in the intro. That wah you're hearing is bass. On the Wal basses theres a knob that acts as a low pass filter. Check out Toolbassplayer's patient video.

  • Actually, a wah is used for the bass in addition to the volume knob on the bass.

  • I will post one up with the wah intro to the patient(if thats what your looking for)... as soon as i get a new wah. i blew out the circut board on my crybaby =[

  • omg man ive been traying so much to get that effect on my bass u rock keep it up

    nice guitar by the way

  • INTENSE!!!

  • haha yea, she really likes sleeping next to the damn bass amplifier too for some reason

  • Does your cat like tool as well.

  • thats pretty good

  • Why are you neglecting your pinky ? :(

  • never thought about tapping the beginning all on the 6th string, that makes it a lot easier...I always just tap the 5th string on the 3rd fret than the 5th fret, and then your always hitting the 4th string and ruining the picking.

  • i like how you play patient it sounds great keep playing you are really good

  • Wow! Really nice and I love the intro going into "The Patient"

B/t/w I have a question for the people who play guitar. What is the best type of guitar. I know somewhat about guitars, but not a whole lot. Do you basically choose a guitar based on the looks, being comfortable with it or what? Please respond back and sorry for the people who don't know what the hell I'm talking about. I'm kinda new with guitars!

  • well different guitars will give you different tone. If you get a heavier guitar like a les paul you're get a thick and warmer tone. If you get something like an Ibanez the tone is more metallic and trebly. Also the necks can be different. I have an ibanez with jumbo frets, has larger gaps between the strings too which makes playing chords a lot easier cause your fingers aren't hitting the adjacent strings. I suggest you go to a guitar shop and try out different guitars to see what you like.

  • Hmmm I see, what about Adam's guitar? What brand is that because I like the noise. I'm looking online to order one, but I know a music shop in my town so I guess I'll go down there soon to try out some guitars. Thanks!

  • Adam uses a Gibson Les Paul Custom. Great guitar for a nice thick tone. Only problem with that is real Gibsons cost a hell of a lot, lookin at like $2000+ for a Standard. I've got an Epiphone Les Paul which is a cheaper version. I paid about $600 for mine. I've also got a Gibson SG Standard for $1,300 which has some nice thick tone. Try not to order online if you can. Try to get one at the music shop, less chance of having it damaged in shipping that way (which is extremely likely to happen.)

  • I learned the hard way. Ordered an Ibanez before and it looked like a fuckin forklift was run into it. If you must order try ordering from a guitar center or another large music store.

If you're just starting out and want a similar tone to Adam I suggest looking into an Epiphone Les Paul though, great guitar for the price. Hope this helped.

  • Well I bought myself a guitar today, the name is "Godin" Guitar? But I got a good deal with a nice amp which was on sale, strap guitar pics, tuner (not a cheap crappy one) and if anything happens i can go back to the shop and they'll fix it up for me and even change my strings. Not bad I say, but one of the people that worked at one of the stores I went to said that Tool use very expensive equipment, I'm guessing its true because of the unique sound. But if it is, what equipment do they use?

  • sent you a pm

  • tight but look at the cat on the amp... he is a tool fan for sure

  • that is a very nice guitar

  • Radical dude!

  • Best ive heard yet.

  • your fingers are so methodical! hope to play like this some day!

  • i love how that cat is just chillin there at around 5:00 haha

  • Wow. That was really good. You had some timing issues in the beginning, but other than that, amazing.

  • sweet cover, I'll be that good someday ^.^

  • pretty damn good man!!!...that song is sooo fukin awesome...so simple yet so AWESOME!...did a good job man keep it up...

  • That was Excellent!!, I've been playin for almost three months and lovin it. I hope to play this some day.

  • Awesome job. Ive been waiting for you to put another video up, the Jambi one was good too.

  • hey awesome job, do you know where I can get the tabs for the way you played it? rock on bro
