I can't say that this is best anime, even though it's very good and pretty much underrated. Season 2 would be nice of course because there is lots of material left of course. + Nobuo Uematsu and Kanon forver <3

@mashmusic11235 I know aye was hilarious when I read the part he got kicked off down by his wife Yarn and his other wife (another goddess ) whos names are the names that Guin remembers in the Anime Lamloc or something tries to help him but was freeken funny when someone like guin got owned by his wife also if u noticed Istvan is very likely to be the yonger version of guin( same skin colour body shape) same etc and many in japan suspected(including author) indicated Guin is Istvan's in future

Is mostly about war conspiracy and betral. really good too bad english is only first 10 books I think because I only found the japanese ones I did japanese in university so could read it.

and judging by what the book is going the guy who used to be a general for Amnelis or Istvan's own son (the other son the bastard from another women) is probally going to kill him in the end and he gets his final rest my guess is the Lion guy cos of the prophecy by linda but that is my guess cos the book ended where he proposed to linda and got turned down but yeah the author died.

oh and yeah Guin's true wife is Yarn the Goddess. He pissed her off so she gave him a leo head and kick him down

unfortunately the writer passed away so I don't think they going to make a season 2 how ever there is enough content to make 5 more seasons from what is left

since they 99% not going to make a new series I am going give away what is going to happen

Lina marries nalis and then Istvan XXOO amnelis and become king of mongol and 2 other kingdoms (can't remember the name) and guin become king of northern kingdoms and then Lemis chopped nalis legs off then Istavan tortured nalis more so nalis dies

@DMonkey123 If you like high fantasy and adventure, then you'll love the anime. Unfortunately, the author of the books the anime is based on died tragically of cancer during the anime's original run in 2009. It is unknown if there will be any further animation. There are 130 volumes to the novel and the anime only covers approximately the first sixteen volumes, so you may feel unsatisfied by the end of the anime.

As for the Anime, well, I'm sure the reason it left plot holes is that it didn't cover the whole series. Guin Saga was originally a light novel series. The anime covers through volume 16 from what I read. There were 130 published novels in the series. There will be no more though. The author passed away and the last book was published posthumously.

I think in the USA, we get what's left over (as far as anime from Japan), and what we think are outstanding series get lost in the mix; like Guin Saga for one and Claymore, but I must digress, I can only appreciate what's available to me. This is not to say that these aren't big series in Japan either (this is because I'm not there and so I don't really know).

Is guin saga any good? I watched like 10 minutes of episode 1 but got to creeped out after the human leopard guy. My biggest problem, with the series was that it was to american as opposed to japamese art and I did not like the character design but it may be worth watching if it is good.

@ShadowPrincess110 ok, So basically They're are these twins who are on the run from pursuers and guin saves them(lepard guy) And so they journey together and meet this guy who thinks rinda(female twin) is his princess of light, so he goes with them(i think hes cute) and they all travel and find they're destiny, Over all it has great animation and the story is really good and hard to describe...or at least briefly, anyhow if you like utawaremono and scrapped princess you'll like this
