Most E30 owners install a Signature Motoring performance intake kit for around 9HP gain. Cost is a mere $150 or so, best value per HP gain in the E30 line.

Install time is about 30 min, maybe 45 for two left hands, LOL. Great sound and extra performance for aroun $160. I have one in my 89 325i cabrio.

This cari isn't TURBO, the sound you hear is the transmission, Traight cut DOG gear, they cream.... This cai is a 4 cylinder, 2.3 to 2.5 liter (the 2.5 is the EVO2 version), standard with individual throtle bodies, 235 hp the EVO2 in road version!!!

Im gonna stick to my 240sx or Mk3 supra for backroad rally.
