  • Meh, not enough strings.

  • my God he is soo booring

  • @goph999 You choosed the wrong video, or you just do not recognice a genious when you see one.

  • i bet this guy gets so much pussy

  • I don't always thumbs up,

    But when i do

    I thumbs up random comments

  • can't you see he is the man, let me hear you applaud

he is more than a man, he is a shiny golden god.

  • Bach was genius. How in the world could he write that stuff?!!

  • MUITO BOM MAIS NÃO CONSEGUI ENTENDER O COMPLEMENTO DO INSTRUMENTO

  • I never heared someone playing bach that well.. His leading a Voices are very very good..

    Sorry for my bad english

  • this guy has hands like a spider, good grief he must have been born with a guitar

  • That's a sprightly little jig!

  • that gigue is epically difficult

  • @delameu

very difficult indeed. took me almost a year to master it.

  • marvellous

  • Simply great!!!

  • wow !!!

  • Oh, My! That is pure.

    Brilliant! Thank you...

  • that is truly the epitome of guitar awesomeness. It makes sweet, gentle leve to my ears but fucks them so violently at the same time. xD

I have been playing forr a litttttle bit over a year now, and I have bourree under my belt, but I just got the sheet music for Gigue today and it is so discouraging to try and learn. The music on the page looks so easy! When you look at the notes, Bourree looks infinitely harder, but its so misleading because this song is sooo difficult. Wish me luck. :)

  • Söllscher is prolly (one of) the best of this time frame, ty

  • who can dislike this? This is poetry.

  • WOW GOD is that you? i bet this guy can shred the shit out of a Jackson

  • He plays very well.

  • Some people in this world operate on a whole different level than the rest of us. This guy is one of them.

  • Damn, look at that velvet jacket. He must be a devil with the ladies...

  • 6 people really don't know about the play music

  • the low strings hardly ever play notes, nearly only the standard guitar strings.. It's just for some very rare bass line.

So, why does it have to have 11 strings instead of 6? phew...

    Anyway, great performance.

  • I can play the first part hehehe but not the Gigue

  • where can I get a guitar like that?

  • how many strings???!??

  • It sounds as if there are 2 or more guitars! Great playing.

  • This is truly amazing bit play a full barre chord or find a capo for that guitar

  • 6 is not enough but it is such a perfect place to start

  • fuck shit!!!!!!

  • ESA SE SIGUE LLAMANDO GUITARRA?

  • im learnming this right now..and im 13..not bad eh?

  • @xgamerx350 well done,,,you want a cookie for that?

  • @anarubric yes pleeease

  • @anarubric omg that is just hilarious xD

    What a little douche x)

  • A seven strings guitar is enough, but is a wonderful song!!!

Una guitarra de siete cuerdas es el suficiente, pero es una canción hermosa!!!

Um violão de sete cordas basta, mas é uma linda múscia!!!

  • Can't get enough more strings heaps more please thank you

  • INCREIBLE !!!!!

  • HE'S A SHINY METAL GOD. <3

  • He should do this with Jethro Tull :)

  • Fantasticoo!!

  • Is that, technically, an acoustic guitar?

  • Hmm, his level of mastery reminds of that of Justin Bieber or even Ke$ha.

  • I do not own one of those. But somehow I don't feel like I need one very much either so to speak!

  • He is supposed to be one of the the best players in the world

  • Master of masters of masters...

  • @poafdosfch It is an 11-string alto guitar.

  • @poafdosfch It is an 11-string alto guitar

  • fantastico

  • Nice playing,, but why he plays in G minor and not in E minor, the original key?

  • @DBJCOL10 I'm guessing because alto guitars are in G? I can see how Em wouldn't be very practical...

  • Goran play Bach always nice and quiet in my heart.

    Lianto tjahjoputro

  • Göran was sent by God to hear the essence of Bach.

  • cant you see he's the man let me hear you applaud, he is more than a man he's a shiny golden god

  • A nicely played piece but, he didn't seem to do much vibrato/hammer on pulls in the songs; the definitive element to all of Bach's lute pieces.

  • @SiT1986

"he didn't seem to do much vibrato/hammer on pulls"

Please post a video and show us how it's done. Show the world.

  • @wastrel09 You're missing the whole point you moron.

  • @SiT1986 Wasterl09 has his hands full straightening out you shitheads. Bitching about the key he's in reveals YOU to be a non-player in ANY key. And this crap about vibrato, pull off and slurs shows that You depend on them to pull off your crippled slur-pull-off vibrato dependent version, IF you even have a version. Have some respect and just appreciate the playing he IS doing, and you might one day play 1/4 as well as he does.

  • He loves to use "m" and "a" fingers =o

  • The tightest and most imaginative rendition of this piece I have heard!

  • beautiful lute, and wonderful player! I cant believe I didnt find this earlier.

  • greatness of spirit this is a wonderful feeling

  • love the repeat at 1:16 sounds so mysterious

  • Is it really true or necessery like some say,to train the thumb to play 16th:s notes while the index finger plays 8th:s?.to me here they seem to match each other.

  • I love his arrangement.

  • El mejor sonido que he escuchado.

  • His left hand simply dances. One of the least "stressful" performances of this piece I have seen.

What a light touch he has!

  • Fantastically beautiful, and very well played! It is practical to change the key a little, and it just sounds fine. I feel inspired, and today I will play my own 11 string alto guitar a little longer than usual. :)

  • @StenEdeback is that what he has? an 11 string alto guitar?

  • @BlackMetal401 Yes, he has an 11 string alto guitar, an invention by the Swede Georg Bolin. You can play lute music on it with guitar nail technique.

  • Master class with him (and his son) tomorrow! Feel free to be jealous!

  • That's Great!

  • It was! He's a great guy and musician a really cheap sense of humour. Cheesy to way the least

  • @gurra9 what university?

  • @ahesse1488 It's not an university. It's a middle thing between high school and the univerity/collage. The school doesn't even teach music but apperently he has some conections to it and its teachers. However, I believe he teaches at the Malmö university of music

  • @gurra9 I am... where at?

  • @gurra9 Well his son is my guitar teacher ;)

  • Masterful

  • This bourré is nice, very smooth, listened to Jakob Lindberg´s version the other day,and got really touched by it´s heavy expressive sound, probably due to the fact that he play´s a Lute.

  • E minor can sound different depending on which mode of scale a piece is written. Let's also not forget that classical musicians know a lot more about scale and mode than almost any other kind of musician. There could be 5 key changes in this piece for all most of us know.

  • Goran's eleven string guitar is tuned differently. I have is cd at home and if I am not mistaken he plays that Bourré and Gigue in G minor instead of E minor

  • @apophis529 yah almost anyone musician

    all the noobs out there

but they still dont have shit on fusion and jazz players

    hell they cant even improv

  • @Utubesuxmycock Classical music covered all of those bases. Every concept that is used in modern music has been used for hundreds of years in some way or another. I agree that classicos can be really uptight, but they dedicate a lifetime to learning about music, and they ultimately know more about it than a lot of jazz musicians. A lot of fusion players are educated musicians, too.

  • downright inspiring!

  • awesome

  • outstanding .Great performance .I was looking for goran's videos for years. Thanks for sharing..Could you send me the jepg2 dvd format of goran's videos.I have lots of stuff for trading if you want..

  • awesome!!

(but i thought this song was supposed to be in E Minor?)

  • probably changed because of the way Lute's are tuned I guess
