my dad had seen a lot of these things back in the soviet army engineers 1981-83.

they were stationed near a tanker training complex. the average mainstay tank was the T-72. the main battle tanks/ good tanks were the T-80 and T-64 although he had never seen any of those two mostly because 50% of them were stationed in east germany and were too scarse for the ENTIRE soviet union.

Ehh .. This tank's maximum speed is about 60km/h but the 580 hp engine does a great job on a vehicle which is more than 40 tons heavy. I had alredy driven it and it was great!!! As for the terrain it's only a demo video if you come and visit you can see more hills and mud...

ReconAlpha as the name states T55 = 1955 the main purpose of this vehicle is TRANSPORT and in a combat zone you need it to be FAST and fast it is up to about 140-160km/h. find another vehicle thats gonna go faster in that kind of environment.
