I thought it very sweet that Hayley took time out from the video shoot to talk to some older folks from a Rest Home who were at Mona Vale obviously celebrating a birthday for one of them, and then singing "Happy Birthday" to them.
Oh Hayley, she's so cute. I don't think that dress is very flattering though. I used to really like her dresses in the past. I especially loved the red dress she wore when she sang "Time to say goodbye" with Andrea Bocelli in Toronto for a Figure Skating performance. As well as her dark green beautiful dress with a criss-cross - like design on the front. I don't know when that was worn, but it was just gorgeous! Hm, my grad is coming up! I need a dress. Hehe, I should take some notes from Hayley
The dress is less formal than the ones you mention, I'd say. It's shorter than a formal evening dress. Come to think of it, a number of her Japanese performances have featured somewhat shorter dresses. Perhaps it is something to do with the Japanese market or Japanese tastes.
Yes, I have lived most of my life in Christchurch. I grew up in a suburb next to the one Hayley lived in and where her family still live and later lived not far from where she used to busk. So if I'm a teensy bit biased in her favour at times, it is understandable, I think ;-)

I take it from the hyphen that you are claiming to be the owner of the crane? Or do you mean that you are the famous camera man?
I'm sure you're right though. Millions will watch this video and say: "Hey, look! There's flooplambada's ridible crane! ;-)
Congratulations!

Perhaps she simply bought the dresses in Japan. They'd be ankle length for them! The shorter her dress, the better!
