Hey everyone I watched this video and was not able to get it to work. It might work for some people but it didn't with me. What I ended up doing is taking it out of the adapter and blowing into it. I then replaced it and it work. Hope either this video or what I suggested help you.

I pride myself on being a nerd about these types of things, but I didn't even notice that the slider was even there. I Google searched how to fix a write protected SD card because mine wouldn't work (I accidently flipped the switch). Now I just feel silly.

Oh Ohhhh I thought that lock did something internal in the card, but it's the computer that detects if it is locked or not! Here I was opening up my SD card trying to internally connect stuff... Now there is tape stuck in my laptop. \fail

Guys, if you can't get it to work use a thicker tape like duck tape and make sure that you make it small enough to fix the small edge then with your nail strach the tape to the side that makes it open. Work perfectly with my 2GB Wii SD card Thank You!!
