  • If you can't pet it, it's not a pet, why keep something that just wants to kill you if you give it a chance, don't come with bullshit like oh it's just defending itself. viperkeeper i know you love this animals but you will die from one of this.

  • Just came across your videos tonight. They are very impressive and you're very informative. Do you keep the snakes to produce anti-venom? Thanks for your videos and for educating us!

  • am i wrong but isnt the other 2 snakes ganging up and stealing this guys lunch called...survival of the fittest?

  • absoloutly fantastic footage of the mamba there! not everyday you get to watch that so close, thanks viperkeeper! maybe you could have dining out with the blacks :D!

  • I've heard that it's not recommendable to put snakes together on the same enclosure, I see you do it; does it work for you? Is it actually recommendable? Thanks.

  • @DavidBlandinii Zoo's do it too, even with mixed species. It sometimes does not work.

  • Your videos are amazing! So many beautiful snakes, pleasant commentary and great husbandry.

  • i thought that was so cool to see him take the second chick so softly she didn't strick it or attack it she just took it like a puppy dog eating out of your hand.. beautiful snake...but my fav is Kermet..

  • Some great close-up shots! He is really interactive! It's amazing that one snake can fit all those chicks in his stomach at one feeding.

  • you got gorilla balls my friend once again i love the vids like Rustler883 said better than nat geo

  • My 2 sons age 9 and 13 caught a 26" Green Mamba in a deep basement window well in Utah... They thought that it was a Smooth Green Snake... When I got home from work, my 9 year old was in the back yard area and had the snake in his hands playing with it... I could tell by the extra bright green color that it wasn't like any Utah Green Snake that I had ever seen... I had him set it down and it took off like a bullet... That night it crawled in my trucks engine and died by the engine fan belt...

  • @FreakyScaryChannel Green Mambas are only found in Africa

  • @viperkeeper < This UTAH FOUND Green Mamba was obviously on the Lam from someones Private collection... A friend of the family and long time snake milker Bill Haast is who identified the snake... Bill is gone now but perhaps you knew him... He ran the Miami Serpentarium most of his life...

  • @FreakyScaryChannel If it got away, how did he identify it? Sorry, Iv'e worked with lots of Green Mamba's, if you grab and restrain them, they will bite you and death will follow, if not treated.

  • @viperkeeper < I'm Sorry you didn't read my story... "That night it crawled in my trucks engine and died by the engine fan belt..." BTW, there was a large fat 5' Gaboon Viper that was killed in a Murray, Utah wooded property a few years back... (Identified by Hogle Zoo)... Perhaps "Escaped Snakes" are a dirty little secret within the snake owners community...

  • @FreakyScaryChannel Personally I think if Bullshit was music, you would have an entire orchestra.

  • @FreakyScaryChannel Yes, I knew Bill

  • Mamba's seem to eat like lil hungry piggies haha

  • Eating chicks by the "pecker" ??? Wait a sec. I don't know what part of town you live in, but there's only certain "chicks" around here that have "peckers"

  • that wuz fn awesome

  • Al, do you keep your snakes together year round or only during the breeding season?

  • @MrNerodia Depends on the species. Sawscales & Mamba's are much more relaxed in small groups.

  • What happened to Kermit?

  • @Slenke2 He's fine...should see some video of him soon.

  • Awesome video. Title should say dining not dinning...

  • @TheJared829 Fixed...thanks..

  • @rolftje Very tiny bore fangs about 5mm long. Plenty for the task at hand.

  • How do u get the money for all off this?

  • @24MrNicko I whack people over the head and remove their Kidney, sew them up and dump them at a hospital Emergency Department. Then sell the harvested Kidney on the black market.

  • @viperkeeper Ok mate, lol. Great Video.

  • @24MrNicko Actually I worked hard in school & college, learned valuable skills, so I make very good income at my job.

  • Wow man! I love your videos but take care those things seem that they are absolutely cute but one simple mistake ...

  • @thedudeoftheplace That's why you should not try this at home ;-)

  • @viperkeeper I really enjoy watching ur vids! I was afraid of snakes but after i found your channel i got more into them! Keep on making those great videos! And take care!

  • This has nothing to do with this current upload but; your 'rant' videos are the best Big Al.

  • random question... you said in an early video that most australian elapids can only be kepts at zoos and such... can´t those zoos just breed the snakes and then sell them to general venomous snake keepers??

  • @rattlingtotheend No, off-sping are considered to be Property of Australia too.

  • Hello, difference between mouse/rats and chicks? Only the fat or what?

    Regards//Jimmy

  • @JAPPJUPP Different protein.

  • Fantastic video! Thanks very much for posting!

  • I've been following your channel for a pretty long time now. I've been terrified of snakes my entire life. By watching your movies I've come to the conclusion I want to see if I have a friend who knows anybody who owns a larger snake that I can hold. Say a Python or something of the sorts. Just to have held an actual snake. I wouldn't get one myself although watching your movies has made me like the Green Mambas a lot. But I wouldn't have either the knowledge, economy nor facilities to have one

  • @huhmz Thank, I'm glad you watch and enjoy.

    VK

  • The look on the other green's face down in the cage WAS hilarious!

  • they seem to be quite a well tempered little bunch, regardless of the move. are you currently keeping any viridis?

  • @LukeEdwardsUK She is off on a breeding project.

  • Very good video, thank you from Germany ! ; )

  • Beautiful mambas! I love your videos, I recommend your channel to all my friends. =)

  • @Surfingninja9 Yeah the snake does have a beautiful green to him too.

  • Have you ever been bitten by your own snakes before?

  • Always best to put the "pecker" in first when eating your chick!!

  • @TheM3tal666 Because Birds are a natural prey item of snakes, like the Green Mamba.

  • Do you take care of any non venomous snakes, viperkeeper?

  • Is there any major OMPV problems in the United States? I find that dodgey breeders from the East coast of Australia are selling sick animals with the potential to spread the infection. Not saying that all eastern state breeders are dodgey, but there are some who spoil it for the majority

  • @CamSR20DET It not a huge problem but flairs up time to time.

  • I know these are venomous snakes that could bite you, but I'm always impressed at how calm some of them seem to be.

  • @Shyguyx12 Only because I don't act like a threat to them.

  • @viperkeeper It works! I never would have guessed that being non-threatening would work on a snake, but you convinced me that it does.

  • @viperkeeper

I'm always trying to show my friends how cool your videos are, but they don't have the patience for me to find an exciting moment. It would be great if you could edit an occasional montage of scary shorts and interesting moments. I would also like to see some giant king cobra action. I've heard of 18-footers that can stand 6ft tall and look you in the eye. If you have friends with snakes like that, maybe some "Viperkeeper On Location" is possible?

Thanks for the time you put into

  • @LeeKeybutts Fortunately I don't have many exciting moments but If I do I will put them up.

  • @ilikecharlieissocool Yes.... but they do hear. There was a scientific research paper published this year on the subject.

  • Al, can you make a quick tour video of your new facility?

  • What kind of camera do u use ?

  • @D2Quezada It's a Sony HD camera, I forget the model.

  • Thanks For Sharing,Loving Those Green Mamba's,Nothing Better Then Eating Chicks,Thumbs Up:)~<

  • great job once again viperkeeper :)

  • It's better than watching Nat Geo Wild =)

  • Cool shot at 5:57!!

  • Great vid! I would like sit with that beautiful greeny and have one of these seemingly delicious chicks! .-)))))))))

  • You rock viper keeper !

  • Green mamba <3

  • Such a freakin slick animal. Which are harder to handle, the Green or Black Mambas and why?

  • @adamtylermiller Both but in different ways..... Greens want to run and climb on things. Blacks will do the same but not for long and then will get in your face.

  • if he could talk, he would be saying...haha its MINE!

  • i notice that mambas flare their necks when they are defensive similar to a cobra's hood. is this because they are closely related or is this a separate evolution?

  • @freakboynv2000 Making yourself look larger in a defensive situation is common to many species across the animal kingdom.

  • @viperkeeper

same thing as 5'6 drunk dudes at a bar...haha

  • brilliant vid al, love your work :D
