  • You have the same style as Emilie Autumn.... Did you do this on purpose or by chance?

  • @katiecalenabc uhmm at the time, yes, i was verrrry influenced by E.A. (ironic, 'thank god i'm pretty' just came up on my itunes as i answer this... o.O

  • @katiecalenabc at the time i had just found her and was very entralled, and one could even say ~obsessed~ with her, so yes i did mimic her a lot but i did try to do my own thing, hence the butterfly instead of a heart.

this was also a time in my life when i wasnt trapped in a fucking box by my evil stepmother, so i was branching out and learning about myself

  • I love how Sweeney Todd is in the Background <3

  • You look like that actress from Lord of the Rings in this video.

It's a good look for you

  • would your body go back to normal if you stopped?

  • woooow im arond the same age and i just got a corset online and yer i just really found this video helpfull =]

and yes i agree... elegant and classy!

  • @Shroomzyful what site did you use if you dont mind my asking? =)

  • @XxMissyMorphineXx

    i got mine from Corsets-UK =]

  • @Shroomzyful thanks =P

  • thank you for the info. it was really helpfull. I Like they way you did your make up. very pretty.

  • very helpfull! i thank you, :D by the way youre simply gawjus, and i love the music in the background.. sweeny todd :)

  • hi i am more intrested in bringing in my ribs i had a baby i carried realy high and my ribs spread out what kind of corset do you think i need i am not as much intrested i the waist taring mostly just the ribs let me know your ideas

  • does.. it hurt?

  • @CarlaStepp it's uncomfortable first, but you get used to.

  • You are gorgeous.

  • I recently bought a corset, that I love very much, and wore it to school and such. Sadly, I found it would not go tight enough to make me content in its confinement, btw I am rather skinny to start with so its not too much of a surprise. Anyways, I was wondering where I could find a corset that was smaller? I have been considering waist training and will probably try it soon if I can find the correct corset.

  • Ignore last comment XD i saw your other videos and saw the self lacing one, never mind. new question, have you ever made your own corset?

  • One quick question, or more of a request of advice which ever it sounds more like, I am guessing if you wear your corset a lot you know how to tie it by yourself tightly, i have been wearing them for about a year now, not to much lately since i was sick and rather no pressure on my body but anyway how do you tie it tight by yourself? Just keep trying or lots of practice or just have someone help?

  • awsome advice, im 14, and already started to wear a corset, not completely tight laced because i want the full tight-laced training, so im working my way up. And btw, corsets are originally classy and elegant, its just that the whores are wearing it in a vulgar manner now-a-days. damn you whores!!! XO

  • Sweeney Todd Opening title -> you´re great!

  • I'm 13 and i wear fake corsets (the ones with lacing, but dont give an 'hourglass effect'), im getting a real corset soon, I love wearing them, they are as comfy as t-shirt, in my opinion! =)

  • Where oh where can i get a corsett?!?!?!

  • love the hair, could you make a short tutorial maybe how you did that? would be great

  • O.o your waist is so small :D i love it! ahhhh!

  • Im 15 and I wear corcerts...I know they bind your body, and I like it...I have a underbust. I got it at a renasance fair, and I love it.

    You are very very pretty!!

  • *dies*

I saw corset... I saw Emilie Autumn.... I heard Sweeney Todd.

    I love you.

  • whear can u get a good corset?

  • Hi, this was very helpful but i was wondering if its alright to start wearing a corset at 13, i already have a noticealbe figure and i wore my moms old corset for Halloween (i was EA hahah) , my question is basicly the same as TheLitleVampireBat's. Thank you!

  • Uh, I would not. If it is for looking older than you are or like an adult, then you are just trying too hard. It is quite sexual. Plus, if you are doing it for training, your moms old corsets probably ISNT made for that. A real training corset is EXPENSIVE. Like around 400$. Wait until you are older, because then you have more freedom to to whatever you want.

  • how long do u wear a corset for?

  • corsets are wonderful, but I don't like them when they're so thightly laced...

It's strange and it's not victorian!!

  • I think that at that age a corset should be worn, if worn, loose or not tight fiting and just for fashion. Cause at 14 you're still growing and if you wear a tight corset for shaping it could mess up the way you grow... I mean thats just what i think.

  • @tmpscicoo Well, tight-lacing at any age morphs your body. If the 14 year old would indeed want to wear a corset for many years to come, then it would be ok for her to start morphing her body right away.

I wear corsets simply for the style; I think people who tight-lace don't really know about the history or effects of the corset, or don't care. It's exactly like foot-binding.

  • i wan t to find corset but i don t want to wear smaller size(i m i,75 tall 64 kg not big breast not big tommy) i want one that i can wear over a t-shirt and i m 13 i don t want something that doesn t let me move

please if you have any advises answer me

  • If you just want the corset style, get a corset top from the 'hip' stores. It will not reduce your waist at all, but it will let you move and will give you that shape.

  • the fact is that i like their apearance of shirts and t shirts thats the reasin i comment on yhis video

  • wow, what size waist do you have now? how old are you?

where did you get your corset?

do you know any good sites to learn more about corsetting?

actually, it's said you should not waist train until your body is fully developed which is when you're 21. I'd say 16-17 would be the absolute youngest only because you're done with puberty and most of the body changes are over.

  • small childs body does not have a small waist with large hip ratio...hips develop during puberty for females...most women dont have hips that are visually curvy and a lot larger compared to their waist, but waist training and general corset wearing can achieve that...so in effect its a WOMANLY figure and not a small childs that you get with a corset.

its not distorting a body shape, but if you think it is then you may aswell say that toning up biceps or getting a six pack is distorting.

  • whats with all the hate?

If some one wants to wear a corset or not thats their choice as is the type of clothes people choose to wear. why cant people just be happy that someone out there is not afraid to express themselves.

It is not your right to pass judgement on other people for such trivial things, love people who are different because they are different where is the point in everyone being the same? thats just boring

  • Wow get a life faggot one thing shes extremely good looking and i bet that udner her eye is probably just make up a lot fo girls do shit liek that plus corsets is a thing a lot fo girls liek but never get the chance and this girls wears one so shes quite educated on the matter nad i think she is perfect to give advise to 14 year olds, they obviously know it distorts your body and some people find it good looking and so on ewhich i am one a corset shaped body is like art work.

  • Where did you get yours? I know ebay has a few.

  • song in the background.... y does it sound so failure?

  • you're dumb.

  • your pretty

but don't doodle on your face hon.

    doesn't look flattering.

  • Looks more flattering that wearing no makeup.

  • thanks for the self lacing vid it helpt allot

  • emilie autumn wannabe?

thats not a bad thing likes but u are

    nice lol

  • thing*

I know beauty costs. To be beautiful it might hurt. But it shouldnt cost your health. I repeat, I really love corsets, im addicted to them. You shouldve talked about the possitive and the negative side of wearing a corset. I think you nead to do a warning about back issues..

    Anyway, nice video!

    Lucy

  • You've got to be kidding, right? Negative? If you are following the directions that the young lady just explained you should have no negative effects. Unless you are talking about ridiculous people who feel like they have to make it their personal mission to assail those that have made personal choices different than their own with their useless opinion.

  • I think corsets are completly sexy and elegant. But I dont think that is a good think to shape your body with them =S. I would not recomend to such a young girl to use them to start shape her body. I had to wear a corset, but for medical reasons, it was a plastic one. Many people told me they werent good at all. It makes your back muscles go very weak, and you start to depend on that support that the corset gives you.

So i dont think its a good idea to recomend it for a girl at a growing age.

  • Is tight lacing where you lace it tight? =P

Im 12 and i tightlace my under-bust, Its helped my posture.

  • isn't it really really bad for your whole back and stuff o_0

and it just looks me really unpleasant..

  • Thanks for this vid,

    I'm 15 and I tightlace,

like you said it's better to start earlier,

    unfortunately my mother disagress.

    :P

  • i often wear corsets.. i own two good over the bust corsets and 3 dress corsets (which aren't for tight lacing) and one under the bust dress corset... now here is my question, where did you buy your black under the bust busk corset from?

  • r u watching sweeny todd my fav film the bloods crap tho

  • I love underbust corsets, they are elegant and originally were wore first by teenagers who wore them into adulthood in old days. I tried one on once and it was fine, I think I would do well wearing corsets but they are very expensive. You have a lovely waist, by the way.

  • i totaly agree with u. i wear one everyday and my body shape is slowly getting more hourglass shaped. they r alsome!!! ur alsome!!!

  • I got drunk and lost my corset... hmmm...

  • wow $200 for a corset. i saw some for $65. i dont know if they were "perfect" quality. but they were rather thick and heavy they looked like they cud definetly make a diference in ur shape.plus stylish

  • im 13

im thinking about getting an underbust corset

ive ben researchng about them and ive wanted one for sometime but im looking for a place to buy a good one thats not hundreds of dollars i found two sites that have good corsets but there bout $500 bucks each so iw as curious is you could help me

  • I want a corset like urs but do u know of any places that sell them cheaper than $200.

I don't think my parents will let me borrow that much and it'd take me forever to get that much.

    =(

    I'm 14 too and my name's mykela.

I'm not the same girl though.

  • thats like 100 pound =S

over here that type of corset is only 65 quid, that should only be about 135 dollars =S

  • lol, i just love your name..

  • where can i get a good underbust corset?

  • I love your makeup its soo effin pretty!! espacailly your eyebrows and ending at your eyes....t goes well with our clena skin. ANywyas just had ot puont that out. THnak you for all the corset info :)

  • What a beautiful waist you have! Its so tiny!

    "applouads for your informative information!"

  • i would really like to know, where do you get a corset???

    please tell me...

  • it depends on what kind of corset you want. There are different places for different kinds of corsets.

  • is that music from sweeny todd in the back round?

  • yes, that is. ^_^

  • i love your lipstick.

  • thanks.. its from that guy who does the stage makeup... bill bye, i think,,, Sangria.. something like that

  • Most young ladies in centuries past received their first corset when they had their first period. Corsets were common under-gear, and went along with getting one's first pair of silk stockings, and being required to wear skirts that went to the ankles or over the instep (depending on the period).

Young girls (14-16 years old) were never laced tightly into their corsets. Tight-lacing is best started after 17, and being 20-30 won't make it any less effective. Consistency is what really matters.

  • i heard this not only changes your body outside but on the inside your organs shift and i weakens your abdomenal muscles

  • can you make a video showing the lacing process

  • Hmm... Thank you. Very helpful.

I must subscribe your videos, they're very interesting. :)

May I ask, what age did you start wearing corsets?

  • I dint really own a corset until i was 16. i went to an anime convention with my sister, and i worked at the corset stand (innoficcially)for the duration of the con. At the end of the con, the owner of the booth gave me a corset for my hard work.

  • So.. you started when you where 16

    How old are you now?

You said it was a sloow process p:

  • haha, im 17 now.... but im not really corset training at the moment; as i said in the video, it was a TRIAL at corset training; a week.

  • This helps!!!

    thanks xx

  • Thank you so... much.

Sorry again about my myspace, it's... dumb, to say the least.

I understand the puberty stage and I know not to push it at my age.

I have decided to get one.

Soon, within the month of February.

    Timeless-Trends, you mentioned them before?

Would that be good to start with?

    Thank you so much. :]

  • Yes, i recieved a message mentioning somehting i must say i did not consider-- at 14, you are still going through your pubescent stage(s) and your body is till changinG. DEFINTELY start lightly then go up from there. but VERY VERY slow. As i have said, this is a SLOW process. Let your body develop naturally before you do anything extreme to it. I's wait until you were about 17-ish or until youre certian youve stopped developing.

    Adastrah

  • Go on, you are so beautiful.

    I love your tiny waist.

It is good, to hear more about your corset experiences.

  • At 14, you might want to advise her to work up to it SLOWLY!

I would reccommend starting with an old-fashioned open-bottomed girdle for a few months, One that just smooths and supports then going to a heavier Open-bottomed girdle, one that actually pulls in an inch or so, then in a year or so, a corset.

If you decide to wear a girdle first, you can lace more comfortably, and then, if you want to go tighter as you grow up, you will have that option!

  • I agree 14 isn't really developed enough... this is the best advice I've read I think... one must be careful with corsetry though because at one time women were dying in whale bone corsets... but I'm sure we've all learned from the victorian era... I wear leather with steel boning myself (love corsets)
