When Formating your usb. Format it to NTFS not Fat32. that should clear up your error messages when trying to boot from your USB stick.

@Beast--yeah, it worked. but there are alot of factors that you have to think about to achieve success. some distros have files that are specially made for usb. mandriva (this actually costs money) and slax (really nice) are a couple that are regarded highly. these are preferred. the overall condition of your pc (ram, cpu, psu, cooling, a computer in good working condition) have alot to do with it. also the condition of the flash drive is important. the guy made a good tutorial. good luck

@dstar0007 windows 7 is more complicated. you have to format to ntfs and set the boot flag which as far as I've seen can only be done in linux

hi!! i have some problems with unetbootin recently . i use unetbootin for almost a year now and i tried many many distributions. and then i format some partitions and installed a fresh copy of windows (xp, same as before). after that, when i use unetbootin, after restart there is no "unetbootin" entry in boot menu. same thing happens if i choose usb drive or hard disk. can you give me some advise how to try to fix this??

On your previous comments, you said that you can only "Install windows" with this program, but not boot from it. Then why did you name your video "how to make a bootable usb"? Well, booting from the usb and installing any windows OS from it it's the same thing. You must boot from the USB to install windows. It's all about booting from USB.
