. They are both great players with totally different styles. Ed i believe laid the groudwork for millions of guitar players.I think joe saw that, and went in a completely different direction.Because joe was taught different, thats why his musicianship is more well rounded than ed.Ed primarily sticks to one style, joe being an instrumentalist, has a more rounded repetroire as far as sound and arrangement. Overall, i think ed has had the bigger impact than joe.

the JS1000 is the budget ibanez version. It has 2 ibanez pickups (AH1 & 2)

the JS100 is the budget version, not the JS1000, the 1000 is like the 1200, higher end guitars the joe actually uses on tour, he doesn't use the 100.

the JS1000 and the JS1200 have the same pickups - Neck = PAF joe or PAF Pro (pretty much the same thing) and the Bridge = Mo Joe or FRED depending on the year, he used FRED for a long time and Mo Joe was just recently designed

i am afraid you are wrong sir. Joe Satriani has contributed way more to the world of guitar playing than EVH. Don't get me wrong I love EVH, but Satch has done everything Eddie has and then some. Satch's effects, harmonics, and just flat out knowledge of guitars has put him at the top of the list of best guitar players

@Rawls03 I wouldn't go that far. I think EVH has a larger affect on people than Satch does. To bolster that argument, listen to the wanker playing Eruption in the background. No offense to Joe, but you'll find more people trying to play Eruption in a Guitar Center, than a guy who knows Surfing with The Alien, let alone can play it.
