@ARP7777777 To the best of my knowledge, and with all due respect, the songwriting team of Steve Barri and P.F. Sloan is often given credit for writing Eve of Destruction. Much like other songwriting teams one or the other might be the actual writer, as could be in this case... I've seen it listed both ways. Regardless, the history of this songwriting team is fascinating and under-rated to say the least. Not to mention Barry McGuire's contribution to the songs success and longevity.
