Excellent explanation and you are exactly correct. You have to lean the engine only if the car or truck is built after 1996. Both H2 and HHO systems will work to increase mpg/torque/hp and reduce emission. I think you ought to continue on with your work and ignore the critics.
Hi Bill, I have one question has your next generation product been tested by an independent lab to verify your claims? If so, may I please have the information needed to read their results?
water2gashawaii, you forgot to mention that what you state you are doing to cars IS AGAINST THE LAW in the United States. It is a $5,000 fine for an individual to do this; it is a $10,000 for a business to do this PER VEHICLE. The EPA has strict rules regarding how and when an automobile's fuel mixture may be modified.
@Desertphile "The EPA has strict rules regarding how and when an automobile's fuel mixture may be modified." Where duz it say that? You show us where he is AGAINST THE LAW in the United States! If you cant than STFUP
So now you are burning the hydrogen ...for ....power? No matter how you slice it your never going to be able to prove this. Why? Because like hho it simply won't do more work than the energy supplied. If you could show some evidence that you've been able to do this, like I said you could make trillions and take away the need to ever buy Arab oil again.
That's fine and dandy, but those "lean burners "do everything they can to reduce load on their engine most will see a reduction in power. Now you draw a huge load on the alternator to produce a tiny amount of hydrogen. And that compensates for the extra load? And then adds this benefit of cooling the engine to the point you can lean it up to a 30%reduction in fuel? Really? Please prove it the world needs this. You could be for a trillion dollar payday!
@tacozar Leaning the engine is only part of what needs to be done. You also need to retard the timing, (make the engine fire closer to top dead center). You need to do this because the hydrogen makes the fuel burn much faster.
Again if you claim 30% increase then you are claiming that your hydrogen generator is over unity. You may have a different way of explaining it, but the net effect is overunity. I'm not even saying you are wrong, maybe you have found a loop hole in the laws of science, please show the evidence. I am totally open to new ideas and miracles.
@tacozar You can increase your gas mileage without using HHO or hydrogen at all. All you have to do is lean the engine, and you will get a gain. Does that make your car over unity?
Oh! Well that clears it all up. It makes perfect sense now. You lean the engine. That in turn causes so much heat that you add a high load to the alternator to make hydrogen. And then that tiny little bit of hydrogen you use to .... cool the combustion chamber? Because we all can see how that works.... no I think you need to keep reaching for the answer as to why this magical device works. Hydrogen elves would make as much sense.
Wouldn't this require a new chip as well as your device? Timing and air/fuel mixtures are controlled by on the on-board computer and the software it runs on the rom chip.. You would probably burn out the o2 sensor as well as the catalytic converter, wouldn't you (by running it so hot)?
if you claim that you get 30% better fuel economy by stealing a few amp off the battery, separating hydrogen from water and that little bit of hydrogen has given you the better efficiency, then you are claiming over unity. If it worked why use any gas at all? obviously the load of your hho cell has produced enough power to run it self and make 30% of the fuel needed to run the engine. Sounds like over unity to me.
Not according to NASA in 1977. tinyurl(dot)com / H2NASA1977
These results have been verified elsewhere like tinyurl(dot)com / HHOSCAM
Leaning out your mix will result in a marginal increase of fuel economy, but you increase combustion temps, and increase NOx emissions. Same deal with hydrogen. If 4% or higher it will burn hotter, increase flame speed, and increase NOx emissions even more.
You could just to the emission control tweak, but that's illegal for good reasons.

@christo930 There's no difference in the temperature if it is tuned correctly.
water2gashawaii 3 months ago
Timing can be adjusted by adjusting the IAT and or Map/Maf sensor.

@tacozar The fuel economy does not come from the hydrogen, but from leaning the engine. The hydrogen cools the burn.

@tacozar there is no such thing as overunity. You are preaching to the choir. Go bother the HHO cultists.
