Rod has a great voice. he is a singer. singers sing songs. every singer either adapts or covers songs by other writers. Rod has a deep love for music and it is evident when you listen.

@austin404305 Then your uncle wrote a song that has touched me all through my life since grade school perhaps more than any other song. This version is good but I like the original and most of all Joan Osbornes. Strangely I have never sung it myself but I am going to try. I am not usually a sentimentalist but the challenge will be not to tear up. Kudos William Weatherspoon.
