@bsever423 I just took it outside to do the filming because I thought seeing my back garden was nicer/more realistic that the inside of my house. Yes... if it had of rained it would of broke the motor probably and wouldn't be safe.
@Drmadman1333 Thank you, glad you like the video :-) I built it from instructions... the order on them was to build the framework first then I think the wheel was made in 3 layers. About 48 of each section for each layer if I remember correctly. You place the steel rod in first and then add layers on to it. If your interested in a copy of the instructions drop me an email via PM and I will send them or go to the instructables link in the description.
@MrKnexguy123 have u tried putting some Christmas lights on it that blink on and off and putting your camera on one of the seats and filming it at night???? Its just a suggestion...
@MrKnexguy123 I'm afraid I have already taken it down :'( Took longer than expected actually because I put all of my pieces into plastic zip lock bags and so I had to take sections down sorting the pieces into piles as I went!
@yke90 I looked at one on the US Amazon website but after import duties and shipping it cost the best part of £330. In hindsight though I spent the best part of £180 on spare bits and thinking about it I would have had a lot more pieces if I had bought the set. Plus I wouldn't of had the trouble trying to source the instructions for it, and I would of been able to build other things at the same time but never mind :(
@mousey225 Neither did I... but I had the Original Rollercoaster, Big Ball factory and a few smaller sets so I counted up my pieces and just bought the ones I didn't have enough of from eBay and Knex User Group. I still ended up spending close to £200 though :(
@sfjohn5 Read the description :P It was around a week but I wasn't working constantly and I did have to count all of my pieces etc. and buy some spare bits. So it was close to 2 weeks if you count that but build time was about 1 week.
I have that 6 foot ferris wheel

@coleman0505 540.35393641744443701557466192407 if you want to be precise but that is assuming my radius measurement was accurate :P

Either you're really tall or this thing isn't 196cm :p

@piderman Hehe, no I'm really tall. I have to act short on the ride queue to Spinball Whizzer at Alton Towers because the max height is 195cm!

when you were constructing the wheel it's self, did you build from the out side in, or the other way around, and very good video.
