I did. I had a automatic ignition from a grill and a 9 volt battery, though it was hard to place on the glove and bulky. I removed it until i get around to finding a smaller option.

Butane when released from the canister is very cold, the nozzle and fuel line are quite cold while in use, even for extended times.
