Quite true. Our society is too fascinated with celebrities. Paris Hilton might be a sweet lady in person, but most of us are unlikely to ever meet her, anyway. Consequently, our own neighbors do not deserve less attention just because their hard work for others is not as glamorous to read about.

Being that people watch so much television, a character like Robin would be a wonderful role model, especially for younger people. I just admire his old-fashioned code of morality. Good for him.

Was there ever a character on TV who showed greater regard for old-fashioned morality than Robin? He was so pure in body, mind, and spirit. My auntie loved him so much and respected his virtue and ability to resist so much temptation from the beautiful women all around him.

Danger lurked everywhere. Just look at how close Robin comes to smashing his head against that concrete bench at 2:14! That alone could have killed him. However, he was willing to surrender his life to fight crime.

I must agree. Robin may have been just a character, but he was such a cavalier as you said. Chivalry and gallantry... Yes, Robin had those going in his favor.

You are wise to base your life on the kind of qualities that Robin represented. I am serious, too. It is not often that I hear about someone who is willing to choose the straight and narrow. Whether one draws inspiration from a fictional or real person is secondary. Which qualities of Robin do you like best? I respect his virtue.

Qualities I liked, Integrity, loyalty , I have the reputation of being well a goody good, so be it. I enjoy holding the door for a lady and complimenting them as much as I can. Robin`s quality of standing up for what is right is what all men should strive for.

Good for you! I say this with all sincerity. You have made the right choices. Being a gentleman is such a good quality to display. It means honoring a ladys wishes when she says, No, at a time when you might hope that she would yield to your wants and needs. However, this could be based on her own code of moral principles.

Robin was always a gentleman with all the ladies he met. Some of the molls did take advantage of his innocence, making him fall into traps that Batman avoided.

lol np! im the bat freak of the family and all so i reelly enjoy a lot of things i think some of them would laugh & some of them would think its kinda cool since i've managed to make a few of my friends bat freaks as well not very big ones but still they enjoy it lol (^_^)

I did confess to one of my sisters that I make these clips, but she has absolutely no desire to see them, but is glad I enjoy doing them. It makes me think of John Waters' family refusal to see Pink Flamingos, but they support him, anyway.

I remember being at my sister's house on some holiday when a Bat episode was on. My nephew was laughing at Robin's "gay" cape, and there was SUCH an uncomfortable silence in the room. My brother-in-law finally said "please don't go there".
