I was very surprised by how good this was. I felt that the 5th and the 6th films were a huge let down, but this film was almost a way of saying to me that Harry Potter was finally back. Every scene was done almost perfectly. The only thing i have to critisise is that Harry and Voldemorts wands linked at the end, when i thought the whole point of getting the elder wand was so that they would no longer link...

Still, the final battle was different, yet better.

I didn't like it. The kiss I was waiting for with hermione and Ron was so dumb, and at a dumb moment. There was no build up to it, nor was there any substance to any of the relationships. Harry continued all the way to the end with his aloofness toward Jennie, and at the end everybody is just married. D+

It was a good movie, but Harry was supposed to fix his wand with the Elder Wand. Hermione's and Ron's kiss was completely random. Some of these douchebags down in the comments don't even know what they're talking about. Read the books, and then you can have something to argue about. Percy wasn't in it at all. Fred's death wasn't even IN the movie. It was just him dead. Snape's was probably my favorite part, it was quite emotional. I cried all through out the movie. The movie was good, though. <3

4.5/10. They rushed it to add action to the final battle which was crap anyways. No feeling of suspense, acting could have been a lot better. effects were ok.

Only thing keeping it from being total crap is the ending(epilogue in book). If you haven't read the boos....you will be completely lost as far as the plot and such.

You guys have to remember that this is an ADAPTATION of the books. Of course not everything from the book is going to make it into to the movie. Sure, there were a lot of things that they changed starting from the beginning of the battle and it was a bit of a disappointment, but OVERALL, it was good, Alexander Displat's music didn't disappoint like Nicholas Hooper and it was freaking epic. Plus, I was glad they didn't change the fact the Neville was supposed to be the one to kill Nagini.

the best parts of the movie were Snape's memory, Neville's speech and Harry's fight with Voldemort. unfortunately, they rush over a lot though, did anyone even notice when Fred died? the CoS scene and gringots could have been better, you really didn't feel like they were in danger, it just seemed too easy. Voldemort's death scene was just beautiful. in some cases, the movie was better then the book but the books will always be closer to my heart. I give the movie a 8.5/10

i absolutely hated how everything in the battle of hogwarts was completely inaccurate. They tried to change it to make it better but you just cant do that to the finale of one of the biggest series of all time. Also how they left out why Harry survived being "killed" because of his mothers protection was in Voldemort's blood was ridiculous that was probably one of the most important concepts in the entire series
