It's weird 'cause in the cartoon the Big Bad Wolf isn't nearly as scary as he is here; he's actually a more comical villain. The way he's drawn and voiced here though is pure Nightmare Fuel for kids. VERY scary and menacing!

I wish I knew who the actor who voiced the Big Bad Wolf in this was, because his performance always scared the living daylights out of me as a kid! lol Thank you so much for posting this. It brings so many memories back. :)

The depiction of the Big Bad Wolf in this book was enough to give me nightmares for over a decade when I was a kid! I had this book before I learned how to read so all I could do was look at the pictures and listen to the creepy wolf's voice. I've been searching everywhere for which version of the story I had as a kid to see if the images were really as scary as I remember...and they are! Thanks for posting this video!

this book...this book.. i used to own this book when i was a child. the images gave me nightmares. not to mention the voice of the wolf. to this day the images still creep me out lolol

Thank YOU for putting this up!! I'm 38 and was looking like crazy for THIS version! Let me tell you the little clip that I wanted to hear on Youtube: 0:13-0:19. But, 0:00-0:19 is all great!! Did you blend in the STORY with the SONG? I had both! And...and..4:10-4:22 was another part that I loved!
