  • its nice because a tanto is made for easy stabs, but it isn't common on easily portable knives

  • Why are u doing reviews? This isn't a review, this is the burger king drivethru kid from the simpsons reading the back of the package the knife came in...u sound like a complete moron.. STOP DOING "REVIEWS"! Nobody wants to see this shit, this is pathetic, seriously. This video actually irritated the hell out of me. YouTube isn't the time to practice public speaking, do that at home in front of a mirror, just STOP!

  • @OKCtactical Because he enjoyed it, and was happy to potentially help a fellow youtuber.

He was being positive, unlike many people on here....

    may be rest in peace.

  • No offense, but you're pronouncing tanto wrong. It's more like "tonto."

  • @carrier2013 Thats like carbine and carbean, it makes no difference.

  • @Kylef7735 Yeah it does. People who could care less don't care how it's pronounced. People who actually try to be grammatically correct care.

  • Ice? Lol

  • Is this a knife worth getting?

  • The resistance there is the blade having a bias towards closing, which helps determine that it is spring assisted and not a switchblade. If you open the knife very little it will snap back to the closed position. At least where I live, in California, that bias towards closing is very important if a LEO tries to take away my knife. I talk about all of this in my knife laws video.

  • TiNi means Titanium Nitride

  • I luv this knife !!!!!!

  • good review dude, i'm thinking of grabbing one and your video is well explained

and your camera does the knife justice.

  • isn't the safety for the rope cutter, other wise it wil snap open if you press the rope on it.

  • I'm sorry, but before you make a video, you should probably know what you're talking about. First of all, I know you put the annotation in after some one told you why the resistence was there, obviously it's the loading of the spring. Second of all, tanto, is pronounced as "tonto". You should probably practice what you're going to say ahead of time. People who don't know how to review really bother me.

  • RIP

  • hey nice knife i just got

i noticed in the specs u said it was $120

thought id just say now u could get one at walmart.com

    for only $52.

i like it alot. also have sog multi tools vary nice well made 2

  • @sm0k3y456 Thats the MSRP

  • RIP Brian

  • I was going to get the plain black version, but i decided to get the digital, to pay tribute.

  • anyone know if this is legal to carry in california?

  • @darkblood26 Nothing is legal to carry in california.

  • @darkblood26 yep, i carry one in cali, completely legal

  • Ive been looking at every review I can find before I buy this knife, I like the Digi-Camo but dont know if I want the black blade or the stainless. One review said that the black coating is more resistant in cutting that the stainless, Can a Trident owner tell me which is prefered?

  • @BamtheMan69 Also Does the black finish scratch off easily?

  • thats a nice knife were did u get it?

  • any one know if there's something exactly like this except non auto?

  • @omiss2006 This isnt an auto.

  • I would say the only downside is that is so wide, the handle is like 3x the thickness of the blade...

    RIP Brian

  • R-I-P : -(

  • Serrations are better than plain edge :)

  • Very nice review. I decided to go with the SOG Trident Desert Camo. They both are similar in my opinion. Also, both are great knives. Great job and keep up the great work!

  • This knife seems durable enough for me to keep on me at all times and being able to use it at will sort of like a multitool on the go, a plus being it matches my uniform.

  • i wish the tanto blades had the ruff part at the end of the blade for like...ruff situation

  • @darklight0x What do you mean? Like serrations?

  • TiNi stands for titanium nitride. and thats the coating on the blade that gives it durability and water resistance

  • @n0wii604m3 I know that now.

  • @HCDDWarhero where is this knife made?

  • To anyone watching this, the color of the digi camo is bitchin. The white balance on this video is all wrong so don't judge it by this.

  • um they probaly left that there so when you stab something it doesnt calapse on your hand.

  • They left what where?

  • the problem with it getn harder and harder when you try closing the blade into the handle

  • I found out what that is. It is to charge the spring. I put it in annotations. This knife locks back so it wouldnt collapse on your fingers.

  • ya i hate when it cuts your nuckles when its a crapy knife

  • That's never happened to me. I know that, naturally, some folding knife designs such as the Victorinox SwissArmy Knife, do not lock back.

  • Hey Great review man, Cheerz M8

  • beautiful knife man

  • The resistance you feel when closing the blade is part of the opening mechanism. You are effectively loading the spring when you close it so it can snap open.
