I have watched your videos from time to time, and although I get you are trying to be humorous and I can respect that. I am a huge comedy buff myself. Not that I do humor in my videos but I get it. Here is the issue I have and I can seem to get past. For someone like yourself who does not identify as a transsexual, I find it a bit insulting to "speak on behalf" or poke fun of those who do not have the do not change our our gender like a hat. will continue in next comment.

@LindsayStone You see were you as Jessica are just dressing up as an alter persona of yourself, some of us are don't take it off like a costume. We are not playing dress-up, we are living our lives. I mean hell do your thing I have not problem with that. I have a problem with someone speaking myself and others like me. It's offensive, and although you are closer to our struggle due to community ties, you do not live our struggles so for you to use it for humor is offensive.

What's so terrible about making a comedy video about transgender? It just makes the issues seem more normal and mainstream and approachable. Why do you as a transgendered person think you have a right for no one to ever have a laugh about these issues? Pretty much anything is a fair topic for comedy. And people who cross-dress part time are one aspect of the TG spectrum; I don't see why a person like that has less right to make a video about it than a transsexual person.

@LindsayStone If transgenderism is so solemn to you that you cannot appreciate the humor in it, then you take life WAY too seriously. Jessica didn't even say anything bad about transsexuals. She just made fun of all the terms we have to distinguish ourselves, and since she falls into at least one of those labels, she's perfectly within her rights even by YOUR standards. If Holocaust victimes can laugh at "Springtime for Hitler" then you can not have a bug up your ass about this.

I was watching this and was listening to you as you mentioned what the labels meant, like TS, TV. I can honestly say, I found this offensive. Those are not the proper definitions. And the term "Genderqueer" isnt a real term. Either is pansexual.

haha. you don't say. If TG people can have a laugh and not take themselves too seriously it is good for their image and shows they just want to be seen as a normal part of the community not people with tragic issues or a martyred, misunderstood minority. This video also assumes that most people have a good enough knowledge of the labels so as to get all the jokes, which would be good if it was true. But if someone does not, and wants information there's plenty on the web.
