This is a better version than the 2/3 speed Weller does these days. I love Weller, always will, but he aint got the range he once had for his old classics.
Great to see some relatively recent footage of Buckler and Foxton, and still giving it hell. The Jam, the legends that they are, were worshipped during their all too short lifespan. Paul had other fish too fry and thats fair enough. But life is so short, and there are hundreds of thousands of JAM fans waiting to here the magic words - The Jam Are Back! - I understand that Bruce is playing on 2 tracks on Pauls new album, so who knows, maybe its time we can dare to dream ... LONG LIVE THE JAM ...

I wish Weller would but probably he won't. And that's cool. I'm sure Mick Jones would Love to be back playing with Joe Strummer on a tour right now but that's not gonna happen either. Enjoy what we got, not what we ain't got. That's why Mick is doing his thing with Big Audio Dynamite again and well....
This is as good as any live version I have heard by the original Jam!

If Weller gets hard up for cash I'm sure he'll be straight on the blower to Bruce.

....at least 2/3 of the Jam have the good enough sense to come on back and give it to us, so close that I really don't miss Paul Weller at all.
