my 06 rsx type s will walk all over a g35. infiniti's are beautiful cars and i love them but there not as fast as their put out to be. i saw an automatic 05 cts with a 3.6 in it walk all over a 08 standard g35 coupe. and i raced that exact cts and beat it. a rsx type s is not a four banger to underestimate.

i drive a g35 becasue i grew up. i didn't want some fwd 4 cylinder with an annoying powerband that was slow. i've had this car 100k miles and it's never broken nor do parts cost a lot. you get what you pay for.

yeah your right you do get what you pay for. but you cant cheap on reliability. why do you think honda and acura have better resale values than infinity. infinity is a good car. but you can pay to fix it wen it brreaks down. and trust me your car wont last for more than 200000 miles. so u can say you get what you pay for, but you can easily get 200000 miles on an rsx with alot less problems vs having an infinity

A G35 Sedan would hardly "Blow" an RSX-S out of the water. I beat them in my Base 5-Speed RSX. A G35 Sedan and even the coupe have much more weight, thus why they need a bigger, more gas consuming engine to go even as fast as an RSX.

If you want to step out of your fantasy world, and take a loo at some facts and specs, you will see that the rsx, base (HAHA, can it get out of its own way?!) or type-s stand no chance stock for stock. Shit, throw a few mods on a type-s and it still won't match my times. I'll break it down for you: Yes, in a straight line, my car is better than a stock of fairly modded rsx type-s.

You're right actually, even if the power to weight ratio is horrible on the G35, it stills walks away from RSXs like nothing. My Type S can barely keep up but the G still gets away. And my Civic LX sedan can beat base RSXs lol so TheAcurapassion, sorry, but you're misinformed.

You are comparing 2 way different types of car man. The RSX was built to replace the Integra in the Acura lineup and was built for the track. Yeah the G35's are tight, no joke, but how can you hate on a 2.0Liter 4cyl that hangs with or beats a 3.5 V6? One's track designed and the other is a luxury sedan/coupe. I ain't bashin' on you man but gotta give credit where credit is due.

I love when the Vtec kicks in. I had an RSX Type S with the DC Sports intake. It would make the tires break loos when it kicked on. Sounded like the ground is being ripped from under you.
